Rogue Tenants

Hi guys,

Just a question. My parents have this property and the tenants have not been paying their rental (3 months owing) and electricity bills (owing RM1000).

I was thinking of getting them to get TNB to do the final reading and cancel the account. Unfortunately, the electricity account is under my parent's names so Tenaga advised we will need to pay off the amounts first before cancellation.

Also, I don't think it is legal for us to access the property without permission from the tenants isn't it? Since the TNB meter is located inside the compound of the property. Because it is a small kampong area and an old house, I don't think there was a tenancy agreement signed.

Any suggestions?

A house by Shinichi Ogawa & Associates in Japan. They really know how to utilize space.

'Minimalist house' by japanese firm Shinichi Ogawa & Associates is a 102 m2 single storey residence in itoman-shi, okinawa, japan. True to its name, the house is built and laid out using a simple grid system that divides the space in to three living quarters: one-third of the plot (18m x 3m) is dedicated to a courtyard, another third is reserved for the bedroom, living, and dining area, and the last third houses the study room, powder room, kitchen and entrance. each program is laid out in a single line arrangement to make use of the long and narrow plot. a functional wall unit which holds a variety of services such as a washroom, shower and closet is the only formal divider in the house. the intent of the design and layout is to minimize on the division of space as well as to create a lifestyle that is minimal and flexible. Willow Trees in Malaysia - Gardening

Hi guys, i intend to plant a willow tree in the backyard of my house (renting it out now for the next ten years or so, i want a big tree when i move in later on) as it is one of my favorite trees. Anyone knows what breeds/species there are in Malaysia? So far i only heard of the Australia Willow from this Malaysian gardening website Australia Willow

Alternatively, another other good trees to recommend that will suit a Japanese/zen looking garden in future? Will be planting some bamboos too. Thanks.

This was filmed between 4th and 11th April 2011. I had the pleasure of visiting El Teide.
Spain´s highest mountain @(3718m) is one of the best places in the world to photograph the stars and is also the location of Teide Observatories, considered to be one of the world´s best observatories.

The goal was to capture the beautiful Milky Way galaxy along with one of the most amazing mountains I know El Teide. I have to say this was one of the most exhausting trips I have done. There was a lot of hiking at high altitudes and probably less than 10 hours of sleep in total for the whole week. Having been here 10-11 times before I had a long list of must-see locations I wanted to capture for this movie, but I am still not 100% used to carrying around so much gear required for time-lapse movies.

A large sandstorm hit the Sahara Desert on the 9th April and at approx 3am in the night the sandstorm hit me, making it nearly impossible to see the sky with my own eyes.

Interestingly enough my camera was set for a 5 hour sequence of the milky way during this time and I was sure my whole scene was ruined. To my surprise, my camera had managed to capture the sandstorm which was backlit by Grand Canary Island making it look like golden clouds. The Milky Way was shining through the clouds, making the stars sparkle in an interesting way. So if you ever wondered how the Milky Way would look through a Sahara sandstorm, look at 00:32.

Didn't see a club for Honda Odysseys on LYN so here we go! Anyone else have this car? Many people are opting to go the Alphard/Vellfire way so i barely see any new Odysseys on the road anymore. Most of the Odysseys on the roads in Malaysia are the Absolute models with 200-210 HP. Easily the coolest MPV on the road!

Bosses at GCHQ — the Government listening post — are looking for 35 new code-breakers.

They have placed links to a game, which tests a player's mental agility to do the top secret job, on social networking sites to attract prospective operatives.

Spy chiefs have devised a code-breaking challenge and if players successfully crack the code on their "Can You Crack It?" web page, they win the right to apply for one of the elite posts.

If hired, they will find themselves defending the UK Government from cyber attacks — regarded as one of the biggest threats to national security.

A GCHQ spokesman said: "Code cracking skills are vital to secure the very best talent and to support the GCHQ mission in its fight against cyber threats.

"Our target audience is not typically attracted to traditional advertising methods and may be unaware that we are recruiting for these kinds of roles."

Hello guys, after working for a few years, finally have enough money for a house. Just signed the contract! Absolutely delighted! Even though it's an old house. Here are some pictures of it.
