New Look i*Trade@CIMB

CIMB's single colour corporate identity now adopt the Dark red colour for all the companies in the group, For i*Trade @CIMB, there is only slight change to the RM8.88 Cicks Tader account.

The new ONLINE brokerage rate beginning today (28/3/11 - from their website) will be 0.0388% or RM8.88 whichever higher.

eg. if contract per trade is RM22,900.00 (22,900 x 0.0388% = 8.88) their clients will still be enjoying RM8.88 per trade, ie if the contract amount is anything below rm22,900 (regardless of the amount below this) then the brokerage will be RM8.88

There is still a rule to maintain RM10,000 in the Clicks Trader account in order to enjoy the RM8.88 rate

This is a cash upfront account and you need to transfer fund to the Clicks Trader account from your CA/SA one day before in order to buy or sell to enjoy the RM8.88 rate. Thus for "emergency" buy it will not be able to do it, so it is very important to have a normal i*trade account (RM 12 or 0.42% whichever higher) as the shares in i*trade cds will act as collateral to provide credit limit.

If there are more developments it will be ann here

cheers

New Look i*Trade@CIMB with Remng

Dear All

I am a remisier with CIMB Securities Sdn Bhd based in Tropicana City Office, PJ and have been active in the thread "Online trading with i*Trade@CIMB, Trading using i*Trade@CIMB? join here"

In view of numerous queries in my pm and In conjunction with CIMB's single colour corporate identity, I decided to start a thread "New Look i*Trade@CIMB with Remng" with the purpose to show and explain to more people who are interested in CIMB itrade and the different types of products offered by CIMB.

With liberisation of brokerage rate, the competitiveness of brokerage rate has become intense, we still maintain the rm 8.88 account but with the twist of or 0.0388% whichever higher, do bear in mind if the trade amount is below rm22,900 you can still enjoy one of the lowest rate in the market, which proved to be very popular among clients. However, besides the brokerage, I found out, among others, clients or potential clients still need some guidance or information on trading as well as the usage of the online trading platform. That's when my role came in. I do get a lot of questions as to "why do I need a remisier?" "Isn't it more expensive with remisiers? Actually, you get the same or sometime lower commissions rate when you trade online with me plus the support you need whenever necessary, we can keep intouch with email, sms or chat.

"but, I have no time to come and open an account!" this is among others an important question I get, so I have decided to start an"Account opening session cum guidance on how to use our itrade trading platform" in an office in Kuchai Lama on Saturday 10.30am-12.30pm. I will start with this coming Saturday (19/3/11). If you are interested, kindly pm your name and h/p no for arrangement. Depends on the response and need, we can continue with this.

The agenda will be:

1) i*Trade@CIMB online trading, register an online trading account
2) how to key in order, what is the cost calculation, how to use the different features in the trading platform etc
3) what markets can you trade with itrade, local, foreign shares etc, brokerage etc
4) signing of account opening form with 1 copied ic and 1 month bank statements (for e-dividend)
5) market outlooks, this will be sharing of information among us, we learn from each others
6) simple technical reading, again sharing of knowledge

Shares market is a very lucrative business, despite all the saying this is high risk ventures and so many people lose money in it, I can assure you there are quite a number of people making money from this investment, quietly. Of course, risk Investment might not be suitable for everyone. However, with inflation looming, it is wise to find a way to grow your money. I still believe you need to be informed and knowledge in trading in order to be successful. With the IT age and improved internet infrastructure in Malaysia as well as improved investment and trading scene, choices of foreign market and eIPO, you can do all these at the comfort of your home, Who knows? You could be the next....

Investment is an imagination business, just imagine you bought this stock (see chart) and many more....

So gear yourself...by starting with an online trading account
