Dev cpp compiler malfunction

Dear all,

i hv a BIG problem wif Dev cpp ver 4.9.9.2 running on windows vista. i can't seem2 run even the simplest code of all like cout<<"Hi";. and no, there's no mistakes in the code, correct directory n double triple checked by my lecturer. i've also tries to uninstall n reinstall it. Error generated everytime i try to run it was: "Project is not compiled"

it used to run perfectly fine for 1 yr, till recently, this problem persists. is ther a problem wif vista? should i install the dev ver4/ 4.5 instead? or should i upgrade to win7? is it caused by the OS of vista? sum1 PLEASE help me solve diz T.T (from wat i gathered, vista is a major failure for windows, lotsa ppl hv been experiencing problems running dev on vista, esp ms visual =.=)

i'm havin sum part time STALKER problem here

m studyin in a private uni now, doin engineering. Met this guy a yr ago in campus, well he found my email address from the list of new students. He has a fren studyin in d same uni as my another fren studying in, so that's how he heard of me. YEAH he emailed to meet me up

so i agreed to meet him up coz he's my senior& he offers me help, plus i'm new to da uni =.= he was an ok guy, damn brilliant. his spm result was good & he secured a scholarship in dat uni. i'm a scholar myself, so my expectations r quite high oso, n he's d kind of guy wif good result m lookin for

so v start hangin out...i waz taking it as a trial period, coz who noes if things will work out or not ryte? but he was t8kin things reli fast like, askin me out evry weekend etc n simply declaring me as his GF w/o askin my PERMISSION. as time goes by, i found dat he's not dat suitable to me altho v haf a lot in common. so i told him off after 1 week, n he got reli upset i guess

v din talk for half a yr, but he was stalking me around in campus n its kinda annoying. like purposely bump into me evrytime he saw me =.= & yeah, keep on sending me txt messages n weird messages as well...gets reli irritating, alright. i felt like our previous frenship iz goin to waste, coz we can b reli great fren, juz that relationship wise, he sucks

but he scored 100 for physics, n yeah he's damn smart...but unfortunately, ain't that HOT & not dat compatible wif me...so, wat shud i do wif him??? shud i make up wif him as frens? shud i keep on ignoring him or..???? need advice, tnx

can sum1 pls enlighten me on how to transfer from private university to public university after completing foundation course, specifically in engineering course? does public uni recognise foundation courses in private uni?

and, izit possible to transfer from private uni to public uni in degree level (for eg, transferring2 public uni after doing 1st yr or 2nd yr degree in private uni)
