If you had complaint your streamyx service to TM service department but still unable to solve your problems? or feel like cheated on paying so much every month but unable to claim the performance... well, please log on to skmm . Before you complaint to skmm, please make sure you have a copy of black and white conversation or email between you and tm centre as a prove..!!! make sure you provided every information needed to prove that is TM problems.

STREAMYX 4MB SUXXXXXX!

Guys,
I had just installed the Streamyx 4MB broadband service in past 4 days ago . i applied my line through a guy in lelong.com.my, just a single phone call to him, then only took 3~4 days, my 4MB line can be hooked up. During the first day when my line be activated, tm technician came to my place and use his notebook to check how fast the speed can reach in my area here, he just use the speedometer from streamyx.com to do few times of speed test, and get a concluded that the maximum speed i can goes up here is 5.7MB. Then we run the test from www.speedtest.net , the ping speed is between 50 ~ 65ms, download result is between 3.550MB ~ 4.1MB and upload speed is always between 340~ 420kbps only. But sometime a very terrible results will get from the www.speedtest.com, i may get download speed at less than 1MB although i repeat the test few times...but after restart the modem, i can get back a high speed results again.
i though after upgraded the services to 4MB will get an "excited" improvement, unfortunately, i can't see any big difference in BT downloads, last time when i was using 1MB package, maximum BT download by bitcomet i can go up to 130kb, but now when i using this 4MB, the result is not much difference..max speed i can get also between 140kb but most of the time my download speed is only 20kb to 80KB.. very hard to goes up to 100KB and above...
i tried to do the video conferencing with my friends from local , china and Singapore, still found lacking and sound breaking ....be frankly, i really can't feel that the REAL PERFORMANCE of the 4MB broadband service or the difference between 1MB & 4MB services.
for my opinion, guys, dont take the stupid service, it is totally not worth to own it.....!! the only "fast performance" result you can get is when you test the speed from tm.net's speedometer.. the rest no matter web site or speed test softwares also can't get a such a "ATTRACTIVE" result.
Tat day i did ask the tm technician, he also admited that tm had blok the BT ports, and they never though to release it. but now, i found that not only downlaod BT slow, even open web site or do video conferencing slow....at the same time when i check back my internet speed status through the tm.net speedometer test, i still get more than 4MB results,....i think their speedometer also "preset" the testing result range when detected tm users... because that day that technician also told me . those connection speed result we see inside the modem status page, all are an "ID" which preset by the TM... so no matter how bad is the connection, the result also won't change.....
So i end up my words here. if you still interested to apply it, then isup to you and pls go ahead,wish you good luck then...!! oh yes, they also free me a modem with a brand of Billion BIPAC 5112S ADSL 2+ modem, is it good?? i though to buy a latest Aztech modem to replace it, hopefully it would have an improvements on the overall speed and performance...!!!!

p/s: the distance between my house line to the TM hub is 2.1KM if i am not mistaken...!!!
