Apple Music Family Plan

I plan to subscribe to the Apple Music Family Plan soon, as my current student plan, which I have used for years, has been revoked by Apple and now back to normal individual plan.

If you are using an AirPods, then you should subscribe to Apple Music. I have Spotify Premium and YouTube Music Premium but nothing beats the experience of listening via Apple Music.

The upfront payment is RM52 per Apple ID/year. Minimum commitment is one year. The price will be adjusted accordingly if Apple revises the subscription fees.

You need to provide me with your Apple ID so that I can add you but your playlists etc will not be visible to anyone. Hence, it will be private. Each member has an account with access to their personal music library, playlists, and recommendations.

You should have a Telegram account, as I will set up a group in Telegram for all six of us, for updates, payments etc.

To add on, I am currently hosting 2xSpotify Family Plan for 10 years and 3xYouTube Family Plan for 6 years now and without issues.

Slow Internet Speed

I have actually escalated this issue to my company's IT Service Desk and now it has moved on to the second tier support because the first tier failed to fix it.

As a techie person, I'm really curious to know what is happening to my company's laptop and hopefully some experts could shed some lights with me so that it can help the second tier to check further.

1) Using company's connection in the office, it has no issue, very fast. Around 30Mbps download and upload speed.

2) However, when I use my own connection - Streamyx (4Mbps) at my sister's house and mobile phone tethering (Celcom and DiGi), it becomes so slow and drops to 300kbps. The problem is when I use other devices, like iPad, mobile phone and another laptops, all these devices are getting full speed. Once I switch it to my company's laptop, it becomes so slow that the page hardly moves.

p/s: Speed was tested via speedtest.net

3) Obviously, if the Internet speed is slow, it affects my VPN speed as well. When I connected to company's VPN, I cannot even browse my Intranet pages and MS Outlook took ages to sync and receive emails.

I really don't know what is happening, it seems the issue doesn't come from my WiFi card? I still can connect to company's WiFi and with fast speed. Anyway, I'm facing with some intermittent limited access issue with my WiFi, so HP is replacing a new WiFi card for me.

I suspect it could be due to some settings for my network card? Drivers are all updated.

To test it further, I will use it at my own connection tonight which is UniFi 10Mbps and see if it is still happening.

Appreciate your advice.

Reason for sale: I have a Note 3 in addition to this Note II. So much that I love it but I have to let it go as I have three SIM cards when I travel in overseas but with only two phones and I don't wish to carry third phone... My primary usage has been shifted to Note 3 since last year's September, this phone has been downgraded for business calls, SMS-es and occasionally WhatsApp with my colleagues. Date of transaction: Paid on 17th April 2014

Details of the complaint : Approached Ezytronickc on last Thursday for enquiry and quotation of Dell Latitude E4200 original 4-cell battery. I know he is a new member but joined since 2010 and been active in Garage Sales - Notebooks section, I assume he is just on LYN to do business. He replied almost immediately that he has ready stock and costs RM 300. Since this is for my company's laptop, I thought of informing my boss first since he is the one will be approving my reimbursement later. My boss agreed and I paid him RM 310 (RM 300 for battery and RM 10 for postage). Transaction slip as attached.

Please refer to the attachments for our WhatsApp conversation since it is faster to communicate rather than PM-ing each other.

I thought he could send it out on the same day I paid but looking at the time I made the payment, I would say it is a bit too late so I'm fine if he were to send it out on Friday.

The rest of the conversations can be seen from the screenshots I attached.

The thing is he kept saying Citylink blames the weather (as it is raining almost every evening in KL) and couldn't deliver my stuff. It has been long pending assuming if he really sent it out on last Friday. Hello, we are speaking that this postage is just within Klang Valley?! I even received documents from Canada on Monday which was sent on last Thursday via DHL. I'm very frustrated as my current battery is dying that it sometimes charges and sometimes not. To make it worse, I'll be travelling to overseas in next week for 10 days and how am I supposed to live with this dying battery?

The Citylink's consignment number is forever untraceable and invalid. I have been patient enough but for the past 2 days, I seriously cannot take this anymore. I have finally made a call to Citylink today and they said they only picked up from the sender yesterday! Out of curiosity, I tried tracking it today and it finally works. Another problem arose, as you can see in my PM, I actually requested for 4-cell and not 6-cell, I even attached reference links for him to see. He confirmed that he has the stock then only I proceeded with the deal. When he sent me the receipt (soft copy) the other day, it was written "6-cell". I knew something bad is going to happen, throughout the WhatsApp conversation, he didn't dare to mention anything about the 6-cell until last night he finally confessed that it could be a "6-cell". I have used 4-cell and 6-cell battery in the same laptop and to me the weight difference of these two batteries is quite significant. The uniqueness of this laptop is its lightness and I have been using it close to 3 years and it is such a good laptop for my frequent business travels. That's the reason I have been dying to get a 4-cell battery. This morning he admitted it is a 6-cell battery and to get 4-cell battery needs 2-3 weeks. After a deeper consideration, I have decided to move on and found another seller in overseas. Since I'll be meeting my friend next week, she will bring it for me from overseas.

He didn't fulfill these two requests as seller:
1) Sent the wrong item
2) Kept blaming on the courier service which it could be his own problem that only sent it out yesterday. Take note, I said "could be".

I believe with the above two reasons, I deserved a refund. Now he happily said that refund usually takes two weeks. What crap is this? I would expect my refund is in my bank account once I send back the item.

As I'm typing this now, I still haven't received the battery. Sorry that this is quite lengthy but this is the whole detailed story.

The reason why I posted this up is to show to the world how he is doing business and the unreasonable refund time frame.

So the most common question will be what can you eat in Port Dickson? Here are my recommendations, but it may differ from your taste. It will be updated from time to time.

Oh ya, the kong pou mantis prawns a.k.a. hae koh or some people called it lai liu har. Well, all its dishes are wonderful! Then, while you are waiting for your dinner, please go to the satay stall located at its next door and order a few sticks of chicken and mutton satay! Marvelous, the best satay I had in PD. At the same time, you can go to the second stall and order its ikan bakar, not bad I should say, one of the best ones in PD. It is nearer compared to Lucky Restaurant.

For simple tong shui after dinner, you can try linchikang in PD town, old market as well. Actually it is just next door of the ABC. The ABC opens in day time while this linchikang stall opens at nights. Authentic linchikang and simply cooling! The soy bean juice is freshly squeezed. The air tebu (not sugarcane, I don't know what it is called ) is self-planted and boiled!

Remark: Those suggestions are based on my self opinion and agreed by many of my outstation friends. PD is small so I hope you do enjoy your trip here. Oh ya, the ABC and linchikang are belong to my uncle's and relative's respectively, not that I wanna promote for them but they are really good! My late grandpa contributed a lot to PD's Hainanese F&B industry and our family is always involved in this kind of business, so I'm dare to share with you my views.

I'm just a newbie when it comes to photography but was really honoured to be given an opportunity to snap and dine in the recent opening of MIGF 2011. As some of you might know, food photography has been my all-time favourite photography style but I'm still a newbie la.

Sharing some of the shots which I have processed recently. More to come later.

I was a bit late to the event and hence I didn't have much opportunity to shoot (as a media) before the crowd came in. Additionally, the challenging lighting made my life more miserable that night. Nonetheless, this is really a good learning platform and I don't mind attending again next year!
