I come across of this word and found it interesting "nihilism".
It mean "With respect to the universe, existential nihilism suggests that a single human or even the entire human species is insignificant, without purpose and unlikely to change in the totality of existence. According to the theory, each individual is an isolated being born into the universe, barred from knowing 'why'."

It mean life is no meaning.

I kind of agree at some point where there is no mission / purpose of human need to achieve. All the time we being told how to behave , what is the benchmark of success but all these is not a human mission. Our existence totally insignificant.

No matter your are the rich / poor but actually you are nothing and meaningless to this universe. Those feeling of successful is actually just kind of "shiok sendiri"

Life suppose to be boundless , do what you want to do. No need to force yourself to follow mainstream that having a life study, work, married and become parent if you dont like. This is not the real purpose of life for everyone , is all depend on our own willing what / how you want to spent your life.

Johor Bahru –On June 26 (Wednesday), a Malaysian woman known as Ginelle Kyau went to Facebook to share her experience with an allegedly corrupt Johor Bahru (JB) immigration officer.

Ms Ginelle was travelling with her Singaporean friend and was departing Malaysia for Singapore when the incident happened.

Based on her post, a checkpoint officer had asked her friend, point-blank, for S$50 because of a missing entry stamp on her passport upon their arrival to Malaysia.

Ms Ginelle noted that the officer seemed unwilling to find out the root cause of the issue and to investigate which officer was careless in his duties.

He was, however, adept at the whole scenario and process, implied Ms Ginelle.

Her translated post can be read below:
I still can’t believe it. Malaysia still has ‘ghosts.’ This post shares my experience and to remind everyone to be sure to check your passports before leaving the checkpoint.

Me and my friend drove from Tuas to JB today and I did not check if there was any entry stamp placed on our passports. This became a ‘big issue’ on our way back (to Singapore) when a checkpoint officer directed us to his office because of the missing entry stamp on my friend’s passport.

The officer calmly asked why my friend’s passport didn’t have an entry stamp to which I asked in return why he didn’t ask his colleagues instead.

Shouldn’t there be a record of the scan?

After a quick check on the computer, it showed that there was no scan!

I suggested, along with my friend who was with me, that we find out which officer was negligent enough to scan my passport but not hers.

The officer brushed the suggestion aside and said there was no need – he trusts me leh! On what basis?

It made me wonder why he didn’t want to investigate the matter fully.

Instead, he gave us two choices:

We call the police, spend RM2 (S$0.60) and a lot of our time. (He also changed the sum to RM 100 (S$33) later on))
In short, we pay to settle the matter. The officer straightforwardly asked for RM150 (S$50).
For a Malaysian like me to witness this greed and corruption from someone in uniform is shameful. Taking the taxpayers’ salaries!

Putrajaya's review of the plans to construct the Rapid Transit System (RTS) from Johor Bahru to Singapore had hit an unexpected snag, according to sources.

It was discovered that a plot of land in Bukit Chagar, which the federal government was supposed to own, was now in the name of Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar instead.

Those familiar with the matter told Malaysiakini that the Johor Department of Land and Mines discovered this on Jan 28.

The land was one of five lots in Bukit Chagar that Putrajaya received from the Johor government in 2012 as part of a land swap deal to build the Johor Bahru Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex (CIQ).

It is unclear when or how the sultan acquired the land but sources believe the title for the 4.5-hectare plot was transferred under the previous BN administration sometime between 2017 and 2018.

Sources told Malaysiakini this means Putrajaya would have to fork out around RM495 million in compensation to acquire the land which it was supposed to own.

"So now the problem is the cost. That land was supposed to be federal land but now there is an additional cost to deal with," said one person on condition of anonymity.

Malaysiakini is seeking a response from the Johor palace.

Former Johor menteri besar Khaled Nordin, meanwhile, told Malaysiakini that the question should be referred to the Land and Mines Department.

The disputed land is currently being used as a public parking lot.

Besides the land in Bukit Chagar, sources said Putrajaya might also have to acquire an underwater plot of land at the Johor straits said to be worth around RM198 million from the sultan.

Hi /k, anyone experience electric meter no running but got electric supply ?
i stay in apartment, i only need to pay minimum Rm 3 montly for the pass 5 months but i scare later TNB will charge me back. Should i report to TNB or just enjoy it until they found out ( they will charge me back or not )?

Any advice ?

*I dint do modification to the electric meter and the Electric meter room locked and not accessible by residents
