Hi, I would like to ask for some advice here regarding change of property ownership between spouses. I would like to transfer my property to my wife. Do I need a lawyer for that?? Will there be any duties and/or taxes incurred??

I have five years of experience in Clinical Pharmacy where I work with doctors and specialists in wards taking care of patient medications and counseling. My main job is to monitor and fine tune patients' medications and prevent adverse problems if possible. Of the five years in clinical pharmacy, I spent two years taking care of the Coronary Care Unit and High Dependency Unit, where patients are quite critical.

I would like to bring a new kind of service to our fellow Malaysians. This concept is already in place in Australia and US. I want to provide Pharmacotherapy management to patients here on consultation basis. That is to say, patients will bring their medical records, x rays, ECG, blood reports, medications, etc (if they are available) and I will do a full review for the patient, answer patient questions on their medications, explain what and why they are taking medications and make sure the best possible treatment is given to the patient with minimal side effects. We call it a benefit vs risk assessment. I will communicate with the doctor if necessary to optimize patients' drugs.

A typical consultation may take about 20-30mins, it may be longer if the case is complicated. Follow ups may also be given if necessary. Most simple cases may not require my attention, but I still welcome them. However, complicated cases with many medications are preferred as these patients are the ones whom mostly need this sort of service. Heart cases are most welcome as it is my forte.

For now, I will provide this service for free because I would like to test the reception to this service. The only thing I would require of the patient is to fill up a questionnaire for me, because I just want to know the feasability to set up such a service, whether I can survive on providing such service, how much patients are willing to pay, and whether its worth my investment in a proper clinic. Also, if the patient feels that my service is valuable, please spread the news here and to your friends.

Please contact me here via PM to arrange for a consultation and I don't have a proper clinic, so we may have to meet up somewhere. If you are a lady and don't feel comfortable seeing me alone (because I may do physical examinations if neccesary), please feel free to bring a friend or family because I won't be able to provide a chaperone.

Edit: please dont think I will try to sell supplements or directs sales. In fact I try to ask most of my patients to stop supplements because there's every little evidence to support their use, and possible interactions with drugs that they are using.

Buzzing in right tweeter

Hi guys..
I have a problem here.

There's a buzzing sound coming from my right tweeter. However, once I shift the balance from left to right (i.e there's no sound on my left speakers) the buzzing will stop.

Also, if I do the same thing using the pre-amp by shifting all sound to right channel, the buzzing will also cease.

Lastly, if I unplug the left channel connector from the preamp, the buzzing will also stop.

Any ideas how to fix this, or where does the problem lie??

Distortion in higher pitches of Piano notes

Hi all,

Firstly, must state that I'm a n00b. So please pardon me if I used wrong/vague terms to describe sound.

Recently bought a pair of IE8 and .25 Ordnance amp from Jaben during KLIAV.

Pairing these up gave me great soundstage and warmer mids in vocals, and I love it very much. However, these couple of days I heard something that's quite disturbing to me. When I played any sougs with piano notes of higher pitches, i.e. keys that are towards the right side of the piano keyboard (e.g. the first few notes of FIsh Leong's - Yong Qi), it wil sound like as if the treble is overly strong to a point that the notes got distorted.

Initially I thought it was a bad rip, so I just ignored it until it showed up again in another song. Stangely, other high notes from other instuments are not affected. Only piano.

So I did a series of tests of sorts to identify the problem.

My current set up is like this:

iPhone > LOD > Ciplak 3.5mm cable > .25 Ordnance > IE8 (Problem Exist)

So I tried the following combinations:

iPhone > LOD > IE8 (No problem)
iPhone 3.5mm Jack > IE8 (No Problem)
iPhone 3.5mm Jack > Ciplak 3.5mm cable > .25 Ordnance > IE8 (Problem Exist)
Laptop 3.5mm Jack > IE8 (No Problem)
Laptop 3.5mm Jack > Ciplak 3.5mm cable > .25 Ordnance > IE8 (Problem Exist)

With the test above. I'm led to believe the problem exist with either the ciplak 3.5mm jack or the .25 ordnance amp. I have yet to test it on this set up:

Laptop usb > .25 Ordnance > IE8

because I don't have my usb cable with me now. I'm also not sure if this test will be fair because it uses the internal DAC of the .25 Ordnance, hence bypassing the 3.5mm input Jack of the amp. Also, the .25 Ordnance was fully charged the night before.

Any1 encounter similar problems before? Any advices for me from the sifus here?

My hard disk failed me yesterday... After hours of trying to save all the data... I think I lost some 200GB of Anime. I'm devastated. Sigh~ I've already accepted the fate that I need a new hard disk, and definately not a WD hard disk. But all that anime, I don't even know where to start dloading again...

I've caught Seto no Hayanome, Nagasarete Airantou, Onegai Sensei, Onegai Twins, Full metal panic Fumoffu, Fruits Baskets and I love them all. Any more reccomendations from fellow bros on anime that revolves about this particular combination of genre. Wanna catch some light refreshing anime with gf at home after work... Sometimes I get too tired to watch animes with intriguing plots. Watching Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto now, it's good, I love the plot, but it drains me sometimes. Will reserve it for weekends, for now, I want something light. Any reccomendations?

I recently bought a Canon 40D in 15th July 2008 @ a price of RM3899 if I'm not mistaken. It's been about 2.5 months now. I'm a complete n00b to DSLR and I asked some of my friends who have been in this field for advice on what models to look out for. After making my choice I bought this camera from FotoData in Midvalley as the boss offered me the best price of RM3899 with 2GB card and an OEM bag with 18-55mm IS kit lense. Now that I'm more into the field, I got curious about shutter count as I've read that higher shutter count = higher chance of shutter failure. So I went to about searching on how to read the shutter count and I found this http://astrojargon.net/files/misc/40dshuttercount.zip software from this forum http://www.flickr.com/groups/40d/discuss/72157603930440610/ . Now, here's the problem, my shutter count is 10281 !!!! I will swear by anything that my shutter count should not be more than 3k coz i save all the pictures all pre and post editing in one folder which only contains 3400++ files.

Any bros here have any advice for me? I've checked both the warranty cards for my lense and body, they match and only have been filled by me at the time of purchase. The boss told me I bought a brand new set, hence I felt cheated of my hard earned $$. What should I do?

I know I was stupid not to check the shutter count, but I was really n00b then. I was too pre-occupied with all the models to choose from, etc, etc that I didn't even check such stuff out.

A piece of advice for any newbies out there who are going to put you hard earned money into DSLR, do check the shutter count before buying.

Acer Aspire 5672 Gaming experience anyone?

Has anyone bought and tried the Acer Aspire 5672 on the latest games? E.g. F.E.A.R or Quake4? What's the FPS like? 3D BenchMarks and PCMarks are also appreciated.

I heard the X1400 GPU is a cut lower that X700, so I would like to know about the performance before making a purchase. Also, is the X1400 GPU upgradable?

Please post your ram specs and how much ram you share to your GPU please.

I'm really confused what laptop to buy. I'm a average gamer, but I would like my laptop to support games in future too. Too bad the Dell Inspiron 9400 with Geforce Go 7800 is not available anymore. Any advice if I want a laptop with Duo-core and above average gaming under RM5k?
