Volkswagen Jetta 2019 vs Passat B8

Hi guys, believe the new Jetta is coming in year end with the highline at 130k. At that price, you may get a pre-reg Passat B8 Comfortline... May I know which one would be better for that price?

Jetta has an all new interior and exterior. While Passat is a steal for that price.

And how's Jetta compare to their competitors

Hi. I have the financial strength to repay my Ptptn loan in full and enjoy the 20% off according to the new budget.

Should I do so? I could be saving 5k in total from 20% off or should I do something with the money I have now.

Need advice.

Honda Civic 1.8s 2016 vs Honda City Hybrid 2017

Which one would you all prefer considering that Hybrid output is "=" to 1.8 NA engine.

Must consider price to value also... 89k and 110k. Are we losing out a lot if go for City over Civic?

My concern for City is the aging interior. Any thoughts?

When did you achieve your first RM100k?

Hi All,

I'm in my mid 20s and I would like to ask you "senpais" that when did u all achieve your first 100k in cash term in bank?
How? When?

"Many" says that it's the hardest and what you all did when you achieve it.

Let's discuss about growth rather than savings after achieving 100k. What you did with it afterwards?

I would love some opinions.

TQ.

Honda Jazz Hybrid 2017 vs Honda Civic 1.8s 2016

I'm quite fascinated by the new Honda Jazz Hybrid. It is as powerful as the 1.8 NA engine, hence Civic has come in for my consideration. Initially interested to get the Honda Civic 1.8 for savings until this new release which potentially provide further savings.

I'm in my mid 20s, male and Honda Jazz generally has a perception as lady car. That's my concern, certainly Civic also provide a different status as well.

What will I gain and miss out from the specs provided by both cars.

Appreciate any form of inputs. TQ!

"The new Jazz Hybrid is powered by a 1.5-litre engine i-VTEC engine (110 PS at 6,000 rpm, 134 Nm at 5,000 rpm) paired to a 22 kW/ 160 Nm electric motor, producing a total system output of 137 PS and 170 Nm – the numbers are less than the numeric sum of the engine’s and motor’s outputs because the two peak at different rotational speeds."

"Claimed fuel consumption is 4.0-litre/100 km, but of course, how close you are to achieving this in the real world depends on your driving habits and route.

It’s worth noting that the Jazz Hybrid’s performance is very close to that of a non-turbo Civic 1.8S. As the little Jazz is also 93 kg lighter (1,158 kg), it also has a slightly better power-to-weight ratio on paper. Of course, it will be quite a stretch to say that the Jazz Hybrid is a faster car in real-world driving, as the Civic’s longer wheelbase and wider track will deliver a more surefooted drive, but the point here is that the little Jazz Hybrid is no slouch."

https://www.carlist.my/news/new-2017-honda-...eed-know/45829/

What Smartphone to get along with iPod 5 Touch?

Hi,

I'm currently owning a Bold 2 and an iPod 5 Touch and I'm planning to get a Q10 when it release in Malaysia. The reason to get a Q10 is because I do not want to get an iPhone 5 as I'm already into the iOS ecosystem with the availability of the iPod and all I need is a hotspot/wi-fi to fully utilize it like an phoneless phone. Besides that, the Q10 could also offer me the instant messengers and emails which is lack in iPod as it does not have a data plan. While I'm also not a big fan of Samsung S4 or perhaps S3 as the phone starts to lag within the duration of 1 year as witness from my friends or if I get a S4, there's no need for the existence of my iPod anymore.

The reason to get a Q10 is to provide hotspot for my iPod if I need to engage into the multi-apps and the battery life of Q10 is a staggering of 2,100mAh Li-ion battery life which could played a replay video up to 14hours before it calls off according to a review I read, though S4 has a bigger battery life. While I could also power play between these 2 devices while I could explore new UI of BB10.

While I'm not into Z10 as it has low battery life and the other close compatible phone with my iPod is HTC ONE. I'm also no a landscaper, or fashion shooter but just a instagrammer to take pic of my daily life, so, I don't really need a high-end camera.

The main point is I want to keep my iPod and which Smartphone should I upgrade to? Or you could argue why iPod is not needed and just opt for a smartphone.

Please help me with some solid arguments and give me a clear of a mind.

Business vs Acturial Science

Hi guys, i'm currently a form 5 student. There wouldn't be much time for me to consider what to pursue after my SPM.

So... here is it. A choice between business[finance & econ] or acturial science.

I need you guys opinion and help for my situation. Funds wouldn't be a problem. Only the desire.

Business would be okay but is not specific enough. Actuarial science is also part of it but it's a profession. I could take up AS and then back to business stuffs. Right? While will business course sufficient or any opinion?

It business[finance & econ] a good choice?

What's the starting pay for both fresh grad?

Seeking for advice.
