Startup slow

Two days ago after this really heavy thunder storm my computer start up gotten really slow, after trying to boot up a few times my monitor finally does not show anything.

So i came to a conclusion:
- motherboard is the culprit
but are there any other possibilities?
You guys can rule out monitor and GPU.

Computer shutdown/restart

-Playing Crysis 2 demo(in main menu/in game for about 2-3 minutes) computer restarts/shutdown
-Playing Team Fortress 2, it could last around 30 minutes then same thing happens.
-I tried running Furmark barely 3 seconds the computer restarts/shuts down by itself,
-Initially the computer just shuts down(tried pressing power button but nothing happens, have to wait a few minutes then the computer boots itself) then after several times(running Furmark/playing Crysis 2 demo) it just restarts.
-Thought it was overheating, but temperature of graphic card and processor is within normal range.
-Computer specs: e8200(no oc), gtx460, silverstone 500w

Any idea whats the problem? Thanks a lot

I save an image(.iso)(4.6GB) and want to burn into a DVD but the DVD has not enough storage space.
How do i split the the image into like 2GB and another 2GB so that it could fit into my DVD??

Just in case u guys don't understand(i don't weather am i using the correct term ""extract") it means for example, there is this song that i only want certain part of it is it possible that any software could extract it..

I just got my streamyx few days back .
i am using the 1.0M package .
i connect to the net with 100.0Mbps is this what the 1.0M package offers.
one more thing what is maximum d/l speed for the 1.0M package.
i heard that usiing 1000 divide by 8 means that is your max d/l speed which is 125kbps is it right ???
