Failure to do so will result in the deletion of the topic)

- Rm 997

Asking for this price because the Magic Keyboard IS EXTREMELY NEW. Probably less than 5 minutes of usage.

Warranty:

Original Apple
Technical Phone Support until 16 January 2022
Repairs and Service Coverage until 17 October 2022

as stated through Apple Website

Dealing method:

Preferred COD in Taiping (at any time)
Can also COD at IKEA Batu Kawan, Penang (I go there once or twice a week for work related reason)

Location:

Taiping, Perak

Contact method/details:
---
PM me direct

Item(s) conditions:

10/10

Not even a single dust can be found on the item.

Picture:

Refer below in second posts.

Reason for sale:

Not ready to get into Apple ecosystem just yet.

Originally was planning to use my Ipad Pro as a laptop replacement (got poisoned by colleagues of mine).. but when the Ipad Pro finally arrived I find my self struggling with a lot of stuff (particularly file transfers limitation / songs only through itunes and other stuff) which hamper my original plan to use this Ipad Pro as a laptop replacement.

Unfortunately I had already ordered a Magic Keyboard from Apple Malaysia.

Once the Magic Keyboard arrived on 22/10/2021 I opened the box to test it out (to see if it can fire the interest back in me) but I ended up putting it back into the box and haven't touch it since.

Unfortunately I had already opened the box.. so regardless of how new it is I no longer able to sell it as new. Hence the price drop to RM 997.

Oppo Reno 3 to upgrade to... ?

Hi everyone...

I am using an Oppo Reno 3 (the one priced at Rm 1400 to Rm 1600 range when I bought it then.. so should be the lower spec version probably).
Now I am looking to change to new phone.

I am not quite well versed with phones and related technology. Hence why my searches through Shoppee are only limited to new Oppo Reno as well.

What I have in mind after several nights of looking through Shoppee are these:

- Oppo Reno 4 priced at Rm 989.00
- Oppo Reno 5 priced at Rm 1448.00
- Oppo Reno 6Z priced at Rm 1549.00

What baffled me the most is Oppo Reno 5 and Reno 6Z. I am assuming the Reno 5 is the top of its class back then... while 6Z is probably the lower class. Not sure about how phone technology works but would it be right if I assume Oppo Reno 6Z to be much better than Reno 5?

And about Reno 4, how good is it compared to the rest of the options above? I'm also assuming that Oppo Reno 4 (at Rm 989.00) is also the top range phone back when Oppo Reno 4 dominates the market.

If the difference between Reno 4 and Reno 5/6Z are not too far behind I might as well save money and just pick Reno 4 instead.

What I need and do the most with my phone though...

1. Most Important : Need good fast charging and battery life. Oppo Reno 3 has both of this. Charges extremely fast too and battery life is good.

2. I like to listen to music.

3. And I take quite a lot of pictures. So need good camera like Oppo Reno 3 (I think it has good cameras lol) and good space. 32 GB is alright I guess.

4. I don't play games on my phone though so this can be excluded (most online games requires money to play with lots of gatcha system.. last game I played for three years on android.. Empires and Puzzles made me spent almost Rm 500 to Rm 1000 per month on the stupid but irresistible gatcha. Managed to pull enough strength with the help of my wife's yelling to finally quit and uninstall the game.. and haven't touch a single android games since then).

Thanks guys...

*And also.. if any of you have any other recommendations that won't stretch beyond Rm 1600 please feel free to enlighten me as well. Rm 1600 is the maximum I can go. I will consider it as long as the three points above are well met.

Gaming PC - How Much Budget Needed?

Good day everyone..

I am looking to probably replace my quite ageing Gigabyte P25W gaming laptop. Bought this lil' monster from Illegear around 2013 - 2014. Still working strong till this day.. but now I am having problem running games like Middle-Earth : Shadow of War and much newer games.

Hence.. I am now looking to build a new gaming PC that can replace my laptop's purpose of playing games. This laptop will still serve me but more towards office works.

This is my laptop's spec (based on Speccy) :

CPU : Intel Core i7-4810MQ @ 2.80GHz (Haswell 22nm Technology)
Graphics : nVIDIA GeForce GTX 880M (Gigabyte) 4095MB
RAM : 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 @ 931 MHz
Storage : 931GB Seagate ST1000LM014-1EJ164
Audio : Realtek High Definition Audio

Now onto my question:

1) How much money should I fork out to build a gaming PC that is much more powerful than the spec listed above?

2) What are the recommended specs then? Please also recommend me a budget? As minimal as possible.

The purpose of the build I'm looking for now is to play latest games like Forza Horizon 4, Middle-Earth Shadow of Wars, Doom Eternal and of course Cyberpunk 2077 in High Setting.

As a side note.. I owned an Xbox One S and have been playing these games (apart from Doom Eternal and Cyberpunk 2077) on Xbox One S. So the build I'm looking for must be able to maintain High Graphic Settings that is not any weaker than the Xbox One S counterpart.

I don't want to have to face a situation where I play Forza Horizon 4 in Xbox One S and then when I shifted to PC the graphics is all broken.

Thanks and have a nice day everyone..

PR1MA Comm.. High-Speed Internet for PR1MA house?

Hi everyone..

I'm moving to PR1MA house around next month.

Quite happy because I heard my area has access to high-speed 300Mbps MAXIS FIBRE.

Currently I'm surviving on a UNIFI Basic of only 10Mbps.
But my happiness didn't stay long.

I heard from someone.. that UNIFI and MAXIS aren't allowed to setup their port within PR1MA housing area as PR1MA has their own High-Speed Internet services that they are offering to the residents within PR1MA.

Its called PR1MA Comm. I took sometime googling and found this:

http://www.pr1macomm.my/services.html

1. Has anyone even heard of this PR1MA Comm company? Their website even look like its done by some kid with extremely cheap cost.

2. Anyone has any idea if the service is stable or not? Is it OK?

I am a very heavy downloader and gamer. My Xbox One almost always has something to download all the time. I can't imagine living with less than 8Mbps.
Totally stressed now and don't know what to do lol... An area with offers of 300Mbps by MAXIS Fibre.. yet I can't even use the service and I am stuck with this s**tty PR1MA Comm. Totally disappointed with how they don't even provide option for their buyers to use what internet services we want.
Gaming PC Suggestion along with Budget

Hi everyone...

I'm looking for suggestion on the hardware and how to build my PC for gaming.. along with the suggested budget on what I am aiming to have.

To be honest.. I don't even know anything anymore.

I used to build a gaming rig back then during the era of Crysis and Far Cry 3. But ever since I am married I have tone down A LOT on gaming.

The last game I played was The Witcher 3. Can't even remember when was that. I think it was around 2015 something. I played it on my gaming laptop that I bought from Illegear. To be specific.. it was a Gigabyte gaming laptop.. P25 something using Intel i7 and GeForce GTX 880M.

Since then I have cease my gaming activity and only focused on just listening to music with my laptop. Occasionally I did pop-in games like Metro Redux with my Xbox One / PlayStation 4.. but due to my inability to aim correctly using my game pad.. both Xbox One and PS4 have been accumulating dust ever since.

But things changed a bit recently.. because I heard of a game coming out called Cyberpunk 2077. Knowing this is made by the same fellas who did The Witcher 3.. I really want to play it.. but not on Xbox One / PlayStation 4 because then I will just end up banging my head on the wall. Really have no talent playing FPS / Third Person style games like Witcher 3 on console.

So I wished to build a new rig.. to replace my aging Gigabyte P25 and subsequently play Cyberpunk 2077, Anno 1800 and Ace Combat 7 with it.

TLDR:

1. I need recommendation of hardware along with the price tag coming with it. I already have the gaming mouse, keyboard and monitor. So budget can exclude both.

2. I even need recommended budget to go.. please don't make it go beyond Rm 5,000. The lower the better.

3. During my time with Gigabyte P25 laptop.. I can play most games at that time on High Setting with 1280 x 720. If possible this is the desirable settings I'd like to have.

I don't think it is plausible to aim for 1080p with High Setting / Ultra Setting with a budget lesser than Rm 5,000 right? Or could I be wrong?

Since I noticed a lot has changed since I've been out of this scene then.

4. If at all possible.. do recommend me a shop or someone / third party guys who can just build everything from scratch. Meaning, I just pay and I got everything ready.

I'm not keen on going to any shop here.. I am located in Taiping and I doubt the computer shops here can cater to my needs without ramping the price up a lot.

Though my last PC back in 2008 is built on my own... got some people from this forum bought everything for me and I myself assembled it into a PC.. now I am too old to do all those things by myself lol.

5. I don't intend to overclock or do anything that just gives me headache. I'll just be playing games using it. That's all. No messing around no overclocking whatsoever.

Please help this guy in need.. thank you.

Buying Earphones from Lazada

Good day everyone...

I was browsing through Lazada today.. I am aiming to buy my self a pair of 1More Triple Driver In-Ear Earphones.

Bought a Sennheiser HD 4.30 a few weeks ago but didn't quite like the sound of it.. so now I decided to go for another one.. this time an in-ear earphones. Much easier to take anywhere I want.

The thing is... the price that I found out during research is around Rm 400+ for this earphones.

But Lazada carry one and they are selling for only RM 287!!

I am very itching to click Buy.. but afraid it could be a clone / fake product.

How come the price in Lazada is so cheap? Is it an original product? Or could it be a fake?

Hi everyone...

I'm kinda new with all this Xbox One scene.

After quite a struggle today on how to buy games (I'm using a US address).. I figured out the method of using Gift Cards after some readings.

But for those of you here.. where do you go to get a gift cards for your Xbox One? And is there any place where you can get it cheaper??

Thanks guys...

Xbox One S

Good day everyone...

I'm looking to buy Xbox One S just for the sole purpose of playing FORZA HORIZON 4... (yeah Driveclub just wouldn't cut it.. didn't enjoy it one bit as opposed to the times I had with Forza Horizon 1 on Xbox 360.. that was a blast!!)

All this time I thought it was just a simple.. go to Lazada.. pick one seller and just buy it.

But my instinct tells me to come here and read a few thread here and there.. and now I am confused and scare to buy one.

One of the most notable things I understand is... there's no support for Xbox Live (PSN equivalent) here in Malaysia. And then I am also worried about buying games Digitally.. and with regards to region as well.

My question:

1) No Xbox Live support in Malaysia, so which region / country should I register to?

2) Is there even a region thing for Xbox Live? Like in PlayStation 4, I bought my first Driveclub R2 so I ended up not being able to buy any DLC for the game. There's a work around which requires me to create an R2 account but that is way too much hassle. So with Xbox Live.. will that ever happened to me?

3) What about buying games digitally? Let say I opened my account using US as my country. Can I use Malaysian credit cards to buy games?

4) And most importantly, will they be asking for an address for US account? How do you guys get around this?

5) And lastly.. is there any recommended seller for me to go and get Xbox One S here in this Forum?

Thanks everyone... hope you guys can help me with this... thanks a lot guys...

Kenwood DDX9017S vs Pioneer AVH-X8750BT

Hi fellas...

I'm looking to upgrade my HU (and subsequently my speakers as well.. probably).

Previously I was just looking for something that can run GPS / Waze / Google Map and listen to music at the same time. But going through the multitude of the threads in this section has successfully poisoned me to take ICE a bit seriously.

The car I'm driving is a Ford Focus TDCI.

I am eyeing two brands at the moment which is:

a) Kenwood DDX9017S priced at RM 2850.00 at Etoni
http://www.etoni.com.my/webshaper/store/vi...ProductItem=283

vs

b) Pioneer AVH-X8750BT priced at RM 2150.00 after discount (previously it was listed as RM 2800.00)
http://www.etoni.com.my/products/Pioneer-AVH-X8750BT/136

Questions:

1) What are the differences between these two models?

2) I notice from a lot of reviews on the net... Pioneer AVH-X8750BT is the flagship model for Pioneer. Is there any particular reason for me to pick Kenwood DDX8017S as opposed to Pioneer considering the discounted price of the Pioneer?

Thanks everyone...

New Tyre for Focus TDCI

Hello guys...

I'm looking for a set of 4 new tyres to go for my Ford Focus TDCI.

I'm looking for a good yet budget performance tyres that is good for dry and also good for wet situation.
Size I'm looking for is 215/45R17.

Budget not sure how much should I put. Maybe Rm 500 for a tyre.

I used to have GT Radial Champiro HPY for my Focus TDCI. A really good tyre in my opinion. Albeit a bit noisy but I don't care much about noise. Hit 180km/h when I was rushing to the hospital (my wife was about to gave birth to our child then) and the tyre perform very well.

And then I change to Nexen N8000. Just for a week and then I was struck with an accident (it was raining back then near Tapah, speedo around 90km/h). Because of the trauma I don't think I want to change to Nexen again lol.

Can anyone here recommend a good tyre.. one probably as good as GT Radial Champiro HPY, if not better.. for my car? Budget Rm 500 maybe? The lower the better...

And no Nexen this time. No particular reason.. just a bit traumatic with the brand that's all.

Thanks guys.

Creative Gigaworks T3 Volume Control

Hello guys....

Around 2012 I bought my self a brand new Creative Gigaworks T3 speakers. Cost quite a bomb for me but overall I am very pleased and proud of it. Likes to sound and music coming from it so much. It's one of the best speakers I have ever owned so far.

Around 2014 though... I encounter a much dreaded problems usually associated with this specific speakers, which is the volume fluctuation problems. Sometimes its very low and then out of a sudden it becomes so loud.. then suddenly low volume again.. then loud again.

Very annoying.

I used a Youtube guide back then to solve this problem. Apparently it has something to do with the volume controller https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmFnbyyG530

But lately the problems keep on persisting... and I no longer have the patience to keep repairing it over and over again. I guess the volume controller really is dying on me.

===============================

The purpose of this thread is to help me get a new volume controller for this specific speakers.

Is there any shop in Malaysia that sells the volume controller? Or perhaps there are ways of repairing this knob once and for all?

Good Laptop Cooler for Gaming Laptop

Hi guys...

I'm using Gigabyte P25x right now. Running on i7-4810MQ and GTX 880M. I have been using this laptop for 2 years already.

Lately, my laptop have been quite hot, up to the point that whenever I do gaming, it is almost compulsory to switch on my air conditioning.

So I'm looking for a good notebook / laptop cooler that is suitable or can perform very well for gaming notebook such as mine, Sager / Illegear, Alienware, Asus or MSI.

Can you suggest a few names I could narrow down to?

Thanks fellas...

Looking for Ford Focus TDCi Replacement

Hello guys...

I owned a Ford Focus TDCi. Remapped the car to achieve 360Nm at GT Auto Subang.
And totaled the car December last year.

Missing the car so much. Not actually the car but the torque that comes with it. I have to come to a level where I can't live without that much torque in my hand.
I frequent the road of Simpang Pulai -> Cameron Highland -> Kuala Lipis once or twice a month... so I really appreciate that much power / torque.

So now I'm looking to own a new car to replace my Focus TDCi. Something that is i) automatic (DSG or whatever.. my old Focus comes with DSG though) and ii) has as much as 300Nm ++ torque under the hood. Really comes in handy when you are going to overtake cars on the route I stated above.

Problem is, Ford Focus TDCi aren't available for sell any longer. The other option --> Ford Focus ST is a manual. I might blow away my left foot during a traffic jam if I opted for that.

So my question, can anyone here recommend me any other options available (apart from Golf GTi.. my wife really against the Golf soo much she might file a divorce if I pick that car).

Current options running through my head right now are:

1) a second hand Ford Focus TDCi

2) Mercedes Benz A200 (or A250.. haven't checked the price tag of the A250 but I am not sure if the A200 really does able to cater for my needs).

3) a second hand BMW 320d.

Any other suggestions? A sports car is fine too... as long as its an auto and comes with 4 doors.

Cooling method for gaming laptop GIGABYTE P25X v2

Good day guys...

I'm planning to get a GIGABYTE P25X v2 from Illegear soon.

But I have one concern...

Currently I'm using Sager NP9500 also bought from Illegear. It went kaput a few weeks ago (the graphic cards only), most probably got something to do with the temperature.

I'm playing in my room without any air conditioning and the only fan I have is a stand fan not a ceiling fan.

Is there any specific good method of cooling gaming laptops such as the P25X v2? Well for normal laptops we could have just used a notebook cooling pad.

But this is gaming laptop we are talking about... so any specific recommendation?

Speaker System 2.1

Hi guys.

I owned an Altec Lansing VS 4121. Bought on July 2005 and I am very satisfied with the speakers. Both for gaming and listening to music it performs very well by my standard.

Now I'm looking to change to new speakers. Budget probably around RM 250 to RM 550. Maybe can up a little bit though... but not too much.

I don't know to say how I like it to be.. bassy or what. But as benchmarks... I can say that the VS 4121 really good to my ear so I guess my new speakers should sound maybe like the sound signature of VS 4121.

Am looking currently at Edifier M3300... or up a notch and get an Altec Lansing MX5021.

Problem is I don't have any place near me to audit and listen to the music my self. So I was hoping for a little direction and suggestion here. Hope you guys can help me.

Thanks

Upgrading My PC Gaming Rig

Hi everyone...

I have a PC I made to be quite mid to high spec during the era of Core 2 Duo 6850 + 8800 GTX + 4GB RAM.. which I spent a lot of my money on. Ironically it is now a simple spec only.

I'm planning to create a new higher spec that should at least be able to play 'Crysis 2' on the maximum highest settings possible (not including AA and such) on resolution of 1920 x 1080 Full HD.

I already have a running computer now with the above spec I've shown. In this situation I'd figured the things I need to change are probably only these:

1. Processor
2. Motherboard
3. Memory RAM
4. The most important... graphic card

I am running on my old Silverstone OP650 650 Watt which is still running very strong so I figured I don't have to change that.

Please advise on what I need to change in order to play 'Crysis 2' and most latest game with the highest settings possible (not included AA though.. as I notice Anti-Aliasing tend to be very demanding). What I mean with highest settings is only max for everything in the menu yet play without lag on 1920 x 1080.

Please advise keeping in mind the best MINIMUM BUDGET I could get. Only then can I allocate how much budget I can put. Purpose of PC is purely to play Crysis 2 and most FPS. I have a PS3 for other genre of games.

Thanks and have a good day

*I don't state budget YET because I'm still blurred of the current generation of spec (like latest AMD ATi's graphic card high end model and so on).. leave this way too long ago ever since I started working and shifting to consoles for gaming (Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3). But recently I found these consoles aren't that good anymore in terms of graphic. Hence I may shift back to PC.

::EDITED::

OK.. now that I have some idea of directions I'm going right now... I've decided to upgrade my current PC to a new performance rig.

Purpose of this upgrades is to ensure I am able to play most demanding games with highest possible settings while at the same time maintaining cheap and low cost budget. Owned a console (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360) but not satisfied with it anymore. Can't play FPS properly with them.

As a side note, I'm not an overclockers and do not intent to OC my rig at all.

Please help me with suggestions on upgrades I should proceed with.

Budget: RM 2,500

My Full Current PC Spec:

Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 @ 3.00 GHz (Conroe)
Motherboard: Asus P5QPL-AM
Memory: 2 GB DDR2
Graphic Card: eVGA 8800GTX
Sound Card: N/A (using the one that came with motherboard)
Power Supply Unit: Silverstone OP650 (650 Watt)
Casing: Lian-Li PC-01

By the looks of it... it seems what I need to change is the processor, motherboard, memory (I'm planning for 8GB) and last and most important, graphic card (planning for ATi 6970.. but not sure if this is a good idea).

Please help me out Thanks everyone...

Xbox 360 Unmodded

Hi everyone??

I owned an Xbox 360 and a PlayStation 3.

Recently due to Wave 8 / Wave 9 thingy.. I was unable to play Assassin's Creed 2 and Need For Speed Hot Pursuit with my Xbox 360. Lazy to mod.. so I went ahead and get original version from a seller in Lowyat.net for PlayStation 3 system.

And... I was immersed!!

Immersed with the online capabilities and offering both of these games had.

I never knew online is this much fun!!

Only problem is... I don't really like PlayStation 3's controllers.

So now... I'm looking to sell my Xbox 360 (already got a buyer) and buy a new one, slim xbox 360 UNMODDED.

Problem is...

1) Where to buy it?? I live in Penang and there's practically zero shops there selling unmodded consoles except PlayStation 3 ofcourse. Any forummers selling?

2) What about games? Where can I buy original Xbox 360 games.. apart from Play-Asia?

3) Is Xbox 360 original region locked?? Like PlayStation 3.. I can put in whatever Rx I wanted to and it will play well. R1, R2 or R3.. doesn't matter. How about Xbox 360 though??

Thanks guys..

AMD Fusion equivalent software

Hi guys...

I own a Dell Studio XPS 16... and have been using it for gaming purposes.

All this time, I have to shutdown my background processes via Start Task Manager.

The performance differences is quite noticeable. When I play Crysis normally it would lag at certain point but with
most background processes shut down the game goes very smooth.

But it is quite a hassle to do this manually.

Before this I use Asus K40 AB and with this lappy there's this software called AMD Fusion which has the capability to
automatically shut down all background processes with a touch of button.

Unfortunately my Dell is Intel based lappy. Is there any way to do this without having to manually go into Task Manager
and shut it down manually.

Thanks and have a good day...
