Canon 550D vs. Canon 7D

Hello,

I'm looking to upgrade my camera body. I'm currently using a 400D, but I need a camera with video capabilities, so I've narrowed it down to the Canon 550D and 7D.
I'd just like to know what are the main differences? 7D is about twice the price of 550D, and was wondering if it's worth the price.
