AM300 Firmware

Hi, B4 this i've been download a firmware for my Linksys AM300.After I upgrade the modem, it provide a URL filtering and port blocking and etc..under security tab.
But i forgot what is the version of that firmware.i get it from linksys website.

My problem is, yesterday i accidentally restore the modem to it factory default.And the URL filtering function has gone.
then I try to get back the firmware.i download version 1.19.04 from linksys as I already erase the firmware that i've dload b4 from my pc.
but that 1.19.04 firmware didnt have a URL filtering function.

Does anybody here know, what is the version of AM300 firmware that have URL filtering and port blocking function?
I need to block some port to disable my network client to dload from ares,torrent,etc.
mind to provide me the url to download?

please help me.

Hi,
I'm just newbie in photography. Actually i want to buy my own DSLR camera soon.
I got 2 choice in my mind..it is nikon D60 and Sony ALpha A300 with standard kits.

But...my first choice is Sony,coz after i made some research i find out that sony got a lot of functionality.

Unfortunately...in garage section here in lowyat.net, i saw that so many user want to sell their Sony A300.
So..can u please give me the conclusion about what is happen with A300.
Any disadvantage of this baby?

An early morning Internet attack on Tuesday took down the Web sites of Microsoft, Google, Apple Computer and Yahoo, a tracking company said.

The sites went down at 5:30 a.m. Pacific time and did not all return too normal until about 7:45 a.m. Pacific, Keynote Systems Inc. said. The outage dropped Keynote's availability rating for the Internet, which is based on the performance of 40 large companies, to 81 percent. The figure rarely goes below 99 percent.

It was not clear whether the Internet attack occurred against the individual web sites, or web infrastructure company Akamai, which is responsible for directing traffic to the sites. "It's hard to tell at this point," Roopak Patel, senior Internet analyst for Keynote, said. "We don't have conclusive information that points to one or the other."

The outage had the characteristics of a denial of service attack, in that the companies' web site went down suddenly and the recovery phase took a bit of time, Patel said. Most hardware or software problems typically lead to a more gradual degradation in service.

During the recovery, two of the companies brought their web operations in-house, one switched to another infrastructure company and the fourth stayed with Akamai, Patel said, declining to say which company took which action.

During the peak of the outage, the availability of the four companies' web sites dropped as lows as 20 percent, Keynote said.

How to fast surfing to international link

Hi,

I'm here to share something.
We're notice that there is a damage with our submarine cable causing our internet connection going to be "Damn-Slow".

So, if u want to surf faster to the international link...then i suggest that U use a Australia-proxy at your web browser for your internet connection.

U guys can look at the attachment and understand how the submarine cable is connected.And why I suggest U to use Australia proxy server.

It is because, if u see at the map, the connection between Australia and US is not effected by Taiwan Earthquake. It is connect directed into international link.

There is some Free proxy that u guys can use:

165.228.128.11 port : 80
165.228.129.10 port : 3128
165.228.132.11 port : 80
165.228.130.10 port : 3128
165.228.132.10 port : 3128
165.228.131.12 port : 80
165.228.133.10 port : 3128
165.228.128.10 port : 3128

how can u use the proxy:

for IE : point to Tools --> internet Option --> Connection --> LAN Setting
Tick " use proxy....bla..bla.."
Put an IP (ex:165.228.131.10-which I've provided above) into address box
put a port number into port box
Tick bypass proxy server for local address.

for firefox: Tools --> option --> advance --> click 'setting'
Select "Manual Proxy Configuration"
At HTTP Proxy, put the proxy IP (ex:165.228.131.10-which I've provided above) into it.
Put a port number into port box
tick "use this proxy Server for all Protocol.

That All. Hope this info will help u guys.

ONLY CHOOSE ONE OF THE PROXY

U can try one by one..and compare the speed.then choose the fasters one.

Waja Stock CD player

Hi guys..

Anybody can give me the answer..
My problem is, when i put a cd changer into my HU(Waja Stock CD player),It wont detect my cd changer.Is there any configuration should i adjust with the HU to play a CD from Cd changer?The CD changer is a 6-disk clarion changer(which is install in clarion waja/wira stock cassete player).
Please anybody help me.

Problem with internet connection

Hi...can anyone help me. I got a problem with my internet connection.Actually, all status on my modem & router shows ok.everything shows normal.But i can't browse into any website.When i try to browsing, its just always loading.But i can connected into mIRC.Can sent email also.Just cannot browsing.

Please ant taiko out there...help me.
