Dear sifu,

5 years ago, my friend worked in service desk as L2, basic salary is 6k
then moved to other industry, GROSS salary is 6k

in 2017, moved back to service desk.
it was difficult to directly secure L2 opportunity at that time, hence settle with L1 position, with basic salary is 4.5k
parking is free, and company have cafeteria, cost of transportation and meal is affordable.

recently received an offer as service desk L2, GROSS salary offered is 6k
role and required expertise is same as the position 5 years ago
however the parking fee will cost about 260.
+toll +petrol will cost about 800/month
due to shift, not possible to take public transport.

considering the rise of living cost , transportation cost, he wish could negotiate higher salary for the new job offer.

appreciate sifu here can advise on this, thank you
