Care for stitches

Hello, just had a surgery this morning. Minor one and I have stitches at both earlobes (keloid excision).

When I woke up, I had no mood to ask question cause throat was sore and woozy from the GA. Then terus balik without asking any questions -______-

I'm supposed to keep the stitches dry right? But the problem is, there's some bleeding (doc warned before surgery that it might occur). I'm not worried about the bleeding, but am I supposed to clean it? Can I slowly clean it with a damp cloth? Scared kena infection (which he warned is a possibility as well).

Also, got some ointment from the pharmacy to be applied three times a day.

As per title, what do you guys think of the future of social media? Is this line worth staying on?

Involves copywriting, a bit of marcomm and customer service.

I'm a fresh grad btw.

Workout+Food Journal

Sorry. Had to create a new thread, hated the last thread so campur-aduk. New thread makes me more semangat to post. New picture too The after picture is not so current but pretty much how I look like now.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

(Left) 82 kg, (Right) 68 kg.

GOALS:
1) I'm not super stressed about weight, more focused on shape. But ideally I would like to be in the 50s. Currently hovering at 65-67kg.

2) Wanna be more consistent with diet. Once I indulge, it tends to go on for days rather than that cheat one meal every now and then. Hence, this journal is for accountability. Aiming for 80/20 proportion of healthy/unhealthy.

3) Improve on weight training. Lift heavier. Work on technique etc. Still too scared to do barbell squats.

4) I think I'm an hourglass shape. Lost noticeable fat around the waist first. Flabby arms and huge thighs though I want toned arms and cellulite-free thighs. This goal is more important than weight - nobody is gonna see the number on the scale except for me anyway.

EXERCISE:
New rules of lifting for women (NROL4W). Three day split - full body workout.
Almost finishing phase 1 (7 phases altogether)

Cardio or yoga on other days.

One mandatory rest day per week.

FOOD/SUPPS:
Multivits+Fish Oil Daily
Protein Shake+BCAA Postworkout

Try to eat 5-6 balanced meals a day. I know, I read that it doesn't really help with metabolism but it does help prevent me from overeating. More veg+protein too.

Ok, that's it for intro. First entry for journal later tonight!

Getting Back in Shape!

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

History

I've always been fat my entire life!

My height is 155cm.
The lightest I've ever been is around 52kgs (when I was 16-19)

Around 19, (I was taking Architecture at that time) the stress and work time just took a toll on me. I was working all night doing design, a lot of times felt hungry around 4-5 a.m. ordered McD, ate then slept around 6-7 a.m.

Gained almost 30 kgs. Heaviest at 82kgs.

Now I'm 22 and still fat! Started exercising since late last year (changed course of studies too *happier*) but have only been able to maintain weight at 76kgs.

Exercise

My exercise schedule has changed a lot during these past few months, but the latest one is:

M - Pilates/Yoga
Tu - Belly Dance
W - Pilates/Yoga
Th - Tahiti Dance
F - Pilates/Yoga
Sa - REST
Su - Aerobics

The exercises (Yoga/Pilates/Dance) are about 30 mins each. The Yoga/Pilates are a bit tougher, so I sort of alternate hard and easy(Dance). Aerobics take about one hour and includes lightweight lifting as well. Occasionaly, I go for jogging on top of all this as well.
Pilates was a new addition and I can feel improvement in my body though the weighing scale and measuring tape says otherwise.

All of this exercises are from YouTube. I pretty much enjoy them (though they're still challenging) and once I start, it's hard to stop. HOWEVER, once I've stopped it's so hard to start back again. So hopefully after writing this I will start back again.

Food

I don't drink carbonated water at all. Only the occasional flavoured drink every now and then (once or twice a week maybe)
I don't really fancy desserts (only occasional) and I don't eat donuts at all (after I read in the newspaper that one donut is 32 tsp of sugar!! UGH!!)
I eat junk food and fast food umm, sometimes often, sometimes not. Lately I've noticed that I can't eat KFC anymore. The amount of oil makes me nauseous.
I eat a lot of unhealthy condiments I guess, mayo and chilli sauce. A LOT! And when I get bored I eat... and tendency to eat late at night before sleeping.

Starting to include more fruits and vegetables into my diet... but I still eat them with mayo.

Trying the six meals a day... though fasting month is coming soon. What do I do then????

Goal

Apparently my ideal weight is 46kgs, but I'll be happy to weight around 50kgs again.

Stopped exercising for about a week now. Looking to start back again tomorrow, especially after writing this!

I'm pretty clueless about food. :/ Like calories, and whatever they baffle me. I'm all ears for advice!

Following Jamie Eason's Livefit programme from Bodybuilding now. www.bodybuilding.com/livefit

If you're lazy to click and read, the summary is... it's broken into three phases.

Phase 1 is muscle building without any cardio coupled with clean-eating plan;
Phase 2 introduces cardio and limits starchy carb intake to earlier of the day;
Phase 3 is HIIT and carb-cycling.

Each Phase is four weeks and in total the whole program is 12-weeks.

Gonna be cooking my own food, bringing packed meals to college, and also be doing free-weights in the gym Wish me luck! I'm aiming to go during non-peak hours so I won't feel shy with all the dudes in the gym.

Food: Six meals spaced every three hours.

Supplements I'll be taking: Daily multivits, EFA, BCAA pre-workout, Calcium pill post-workout, Whey Protein (if mealtime don't happen within 30 minutes post-workout)

WISH ME LUCK! And let me know if anybody else is doing this too? So we can support each other.
