Tips for taking the "BEST VIEWPOINT" from John Freeman

1. From where i'm standing, is the sun in the best possible position?

2. Are there any unattractive shadows dominating thte picture?

3. Is there any foreground interest?

4. Are there any features in the foreground that can be used to enhance the overall composition?

5. Is the background interesting? Does it overpower the main subject?

6. Am i seeing the most attractive features of the subject?

7. Have i chosen the right focal lenght of lens or adjusted my zoom?

8. Would the shot look better if i took it from a lower or higher viewpoint?

9. Can i be bothered to walk around the subject to see if there is a better angle from which to take the shot?
