Role: Business management and development. I need somebody to run and expand multiple small but profitable businesses. Your future career prospects and compensation will literally depend on your performance.

Remuneration: Probation RM 2k for 1 month. After that, if your performance is satisfactory, basic + profit sharing total RM 3k-5k, which will grow with the business revenue.

Requirements:
- Must communicate well. Fluent English and Malay are a must. Mandarin and other Chinese dialects are a bonus. If I can't understand you well, I probably won't hire you.
- Intelligent, independent, self-motivated and able to think outside the box. You won't be just an employee, you're going to need to solve problems and come up with solutions yourself.
- Paper qualifications are NOT required. It'll give you an advantage, but that's it. I'll take the SPM guy who can double my sales over the MBA holder with no ideas and no practical experience.
- Own transport
- Workplace in northern Klang Valley. Around Sri Hartamas - Rawang.

Been looking around for an employment contract template that's specific for Malaysia law (with EPF and SOCSO and what not). Can't find any. If anybody has one handy, could they please share it? Would be much appreciated.

Hiring salesman - any advice?

Does anybody have experience on hiring salesman? What are the things I should be aware of, that should do or should avoid, etc.

1. Should have sales quota? Or just rely on their self-interest for commission.
2. How do I know the salesman not just makan gaji and no effort?
3. What if he's holding multiple job? How to avoid?
4. What's a reasonable basic?

Probably a lot of other stuff that I haven't thought off. All comments welcome.

Edit: I'm talking about the type of salesman to go out and find customer, not take care shop

I'm starting a home cleaning business in Penang, and I want to find/hire some locals (despite getting a lot of comments about unreliability of locals...). Preferably middle-aged and above, female, any race. Does anybody have tips on how I can find suitable candidates? I tried posting on mudah, and those idiots have rejected my post 3 times in a row without any feedback on why.

Alternatively, does anybody have experience hiring foreign workers? What's the procedure from start to end?
