Have you folks started using MyDigitalID sign in? Or even created a MyDigitalID account?

Latent defect claims

Is it possible for one to claim latent defect after the 24 months period?
Example tile inspection shows no hollow tiles during the 1st 24 months. However 4 years later tiles appear to be hollow and they start exploding and popping out. It starts spreading to the entire house. Advise from external contractors mention is due to poor use of cement mixing, etc. End up the entire tile set of the house needs to be replaced.

EDIT: Also, can this be done after taking strata title?

So my apartment's DLP was over in January 2020. Then in August 2020 my kitchen tiles decided to explode and this is despite performing hollow tile inspection before moving in. I read somewhere that this comes under latent defects. The tiles might be ok for the first 2 years but problems might pop up a few months or years down the road. Anyway I got the tiles replaced and fixed.

Decided to check around the house and found some areas started to sound hollow. I found this and it appears only Lazada is selling them:

Just wanted to know if this, URL which is used by most SMART TV actually supports 60fps. I see some SMART TV able to display 4K and some at 720p only. But I don't see any 60 fps option.

Any thoughts?

White dots at the top of my monitor

So i've been using this monitor since 2009 and about a few months back I started seeing white dots at the top portion of my monitor. Today it was worse I see scratched like lines on it. i've never used any hard substance to wipe it or even anything with liquid. Only use those anti static soft cloths.

Problem details
First occurence of problem: After changing Wireless settings based on this site( http://www.jayceooi.com/2013/05/13/how-to-...sconnect-issue/ ) because my Note 2 frequently disconnects and reconntect
Problem frequency: Every 24 hours
Problem description: Currently I have 4 devices connecting to my router all using wireless. A desktop PC(using a Wireless N150 USB Adapter), laptop using built in wifi, Samsung Note and finally Samsung Note 2. Initially the router was set to WEP, Mixed 802.11(a/g/n) and auto channel. After changing it to WPA2, G mode and channel at 13, I seem to notice that the wireless disconnects after 24 hours. Further inspection shows that it disconnects right after the DHCP lease expires.
Does DHCP lease behave differently when WPA2 is used?

Currently I'm using KWorld's 1680Ex Gamer Edition to connect to my 22inch LCD. Problem is it only supports 4:3 and 16:10 so 16:9 looks streched. I noticed there Compro's Videomate V300 has the option to rescale 16:10 to 16:9. Has anyone tried Compro's TV box if yes, does anyone know how much it retails?

64 bit versions only available for ultimate

I was under the impression that Vista editions starting from Home Basic to Ultimate ships with a 32 bit build and 64 bit build. However most of the shops I went to seem to advertise 32 bit for all editions and they mentioned that if I want 64 bit get the ultimate edition.
Is it even remotely possible to purchase Vista Home Basic 64bit edition in Malaysia?

Acting on a tip-off, 14 personnel from the State Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs department raided a three-storey shophouse in Taman Nusa Bestari 2 at 2.30pm here Tuesday.

The officers seized 11 computers, and 30,000 games in an operation dubbed 'Ops Game Attack'.

Department chief enforcement officer Fahmi Kassim said five men aged between 16 and 25 were also detained during the raid.

"The five detained will assist in the investigations.

"They would be investigated under Section 41(1) of the Copyright Act 1987," he said.

Fahmi added each of the 11 computers had DVD-writer slots. This particular syndicate, he said, was believed to cater for the Johor market.

"We also seized DVD games covers and wrappers.

"This particular operation is ongoing and we will continue our war against these DVD pirates," he said.
