WTA Which gaming laptop is the better choice?

Dear Experts,

I looking for a replacement for my HP Pavi i5 gen8.
Using it for Adobe Pro, other video editing, and daily work ( lots of tabs ).
Will have access to a power plug most of the time, so the battery is not a concern for me.
I do not care about the size just wanted it to have the best specs for the best price, and future proof.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Sifu,

My current laptop getting old and choppy so planning to change one this year. Eyeing on these 2.
Factor-based on price and spec, budget maybe + ram and ssd maybe best below 7.5k around there ( lesser the better )
I use it for work, sometimes editing videos, OBS/Prism, and possibly Adobe in the near future.

Recon A180 (2017/2018) or Mazda CX30?

Hi, all sifu here. I am looking for a hatchback car for my wife and maybe our weekend car where we go out by ourself without the children.

Considering these 2 car within this 180k budget below.

Just test drive 2017 full spec A180 ( Grade 4.5 and interior tip top) , thinking it is not as smooth as the skyactive from mazda maybe due to the gearbox or some sort but still is a good car that can produce some speed when I need to.

But the interior mazda is really simple and minimalist and the merc got the WOW factor for us.

Parcel Lost and Refund

Hi,

I run an online shop using mainly easyparcel for courier.

There is this case , Pgeon Prime lost my customer parcel which total 3 item inside cost around rm 180.

I only place value parcel rm100 cause my customer after i printed out awb, she added order and i did not worry that much so i did not amend and reprint the AWB.

Courier without informing me how much they will refund, they transfer me rm 100 . Before that, they ask for details which i did provide them all the invoice, so I assume i will get the full refund for my customer but they only end up refunding rm 100 which what i wrote in value parcel

and they say cannot appeal anymore on this case.

Now my concern is this :

I know courier basic max coverage is only rm 200 to rm300 , only if add insurance they will cover until rm 10000 but I am selling very affordable items which retail price at rm 39 to less than rm 95, if i add insurance cost to every parcel that would increase my cost and selling price -.-

So means now ,if everytime i send out parcel cost more than rm300 , i tell customer if your parcel lost i can max only request rm300 refund for u unless you want pay for the insurance coverage?

I think this is the reason why so many parcel went MIA. Let say item that cost rm500 and above , some thief stole it and courier company only refund customer basic coverage if no insurance. The thief wins escape with goodies and we seller only get blasted and blame by our customer

Did anyone of you encounter such issues? How do you guys recommend to fix and handle such matter? Any concrete feedback and advice much appreciated.

hi all the sifus, car lover and lowyat bros,

I am getting a car soon by end of this year or early 2014.

My main criteria is:

1. Safety - cause I travel up to Penang and down to Singapore very often. Monthly!!

2. Comfort - mainly for passenger and back sit have to be comfy.

3. Service - good service center best around Oug, old klang road or nearby.

4. Boot space - have enough boot space to put some stocks and luggage when travel.

5. SEDAN ONLY

6. Great FC or better than normal is good enough.

7. Worthy parts - if need any parts at least not so expensive or hard to get.

8. Durability - able to last for a good period of time and do not give issues in short period of time

9. No local car brand - no hard feelings here

I am looking at Mazda 6 vs Honda Accord 2.0 , Other range of car or brands are welcome to recommend to me as long it fits into my criteria >< but I assume from all that above most car had been screened away.
2014 kia optima is a good one as well ^^

I am willing to take in all the advice and recommendation into consideration even few cars launching next year as well.

I plan to buy a car around 100k plus this year.
Thought of buying K5 but GF do not allow me spend that much so been limit down the price to 100k.

I prefer a power car and also fuel save but not a hybrid la >,<

I do not want a proton , perodua or Honda. ( if recommend to me please explain strong reason and value )

If can try not to over budget la although i wanted to ( if recommend kindly include strong reason and value so I can reason with my GF )

What I am comparing with :[U]

Space - I like my passenger to feel comfortable even in long distant ( travel maybe balik kampung time )

Fuel Save - If can save better la rite Cause I travel alot

Car service - Best got good after sale service la

Specs - Interior Gadgets ( Navigator and etc... ) , Or Led lights or some cool stuff

Durability - Do it last cause I travel very often from KL to Ipoh , Penang , Singapore basically everywhere

What car I eyeing on before - Corolla Altis , Elantra , New Vios , Forte 2.0 , ( when out in Malaysia r? ) , Mazda 3 ( with 3+3 promotions worth it? ) , please do recommend other car with other brand as well if sifu think is suitable what about Citroen and Peugeot? Sylphy?

Resale Value is not a matter for me

compaq presario cq42-177tx rm2699 , 3 year warranty , 4gb ddr3(max 8gb)[means can be upgrade?] , i5 , 14.0'' , ati radeon 5430 512 mb , 420m 2.26 ghz , win7

have better specs compare to most laptop at that price!

next is acer aspire 4745g which have around the same specs same price just the ram lower and screen different

i want to know is there any recommendation that can compare with these laptop
