Hey guys, i tried android section but macham takde banyak orang guna Nothing phone.

Anyone here got any experiance guna nothing cmf phone ke? Regarding claim warranty and as such?
Planning to get the cheap one for my teenager, takut difficult to repair/claim warranty.

On paper macam value for the price.

Was asked by my parents to reconfigure and buy a new router cause the old one was heating up and disconnecting frequently

The network map looks like this

Internet --> UniFI modem --> Router(Wifi 1) --> Dahua Switch --> Rujie AP 1&2 (Wifi 2)
--> Security system

The origional router default gateway was 192.168.1.1 then new router is 192.168.0.1

So first task was reconfiguring the Dahua Switch and Rujie Bridge

I kinda have no idea how to access the Dahua Switch it doesn't really show up in the router client list
But was able to access the Rujie AP webpage.

I adjusted some setting but now connecting to the Rujie AP on the laptop connects to the internet fine but android devices doesn't get internet but i get on to the network
the fuck is wrong?

Recently started surveying tablets cause learning again, wondering what you guys use for note taking from online lecture or face to face lecture ?

Have tried Goodnote (macam clunky to write lecture notes)
Jnote macam simple
Nebo macam nice also but they all have their own drawback
Samsung note if only get a samsung tablet i guess but trying it out on my phone macam ok jugak and it's free

I think not enough awareness is being made to the Klang Valley resident. But the dog population in Klang Valley could be endemic for rabies.

If you or anyone you know get bitten please go to the nearest hospital for assesment.

First to be done at home is clean the wound thoroughly for 30 minutes. For small children please don't disheartened if it seems painful, a good cleaning of the wound can prevent virus for seeping through the wounds.

If it is a stray dog try observe for abnormal behaviour, things to look for.
Hypersalivation
Hydrophobia
Aggressive behaviour

For pet owners please keep your pet vaccination up-to-date more so if they are allowed outside of your compound. (In particular cats)

There are vaccination and rabies Immunoglobulin available.

Rabies is 100% fatal once it has reach the neural pathways.

So my Samsung S20 ultra finally gave out after so many falls. The screen is white out, can't make out any shit.

Anyone knows of a way to mirror the screen so i can save some backup of today whatsapp conversation. And any way to save files on it?

Nowadays so many online services, and its hard to decide which one is worth it.

My family watch Netflix the most. Recently subscribe to Disney for the kids and ti watch Loki.

Just bought my children an amazon fire hd tablet and saw the amazon prime environment and was thinking of letting go my HBO, but is it worth it to join the amazon family?

Current services
Hbo Max RM 35/month
Disney hotstar is RM 54/3 month which is RM 18/month
Netflix is RM 55/month
Leaching iQIY from parents.

Online classes has become a norm and likely to stay despite school reopening. My experiance with laptops for school children has been not good, with constant screen breaks and fall.

Hey guys, i have been using my car for about 7 years and thinking of upgrading before SST comes in.

Want to ask /k opinion.

Budget is around 120k - 130k so looking at x50, x70, subaru XV, HRV and waiting for the new Toyota Cross.
Getting a good bargain at a new Subaru but i am worried about maintance and road tax in the future.

I feel like HRV is a safer option tbh, but the X50 seems attractive also.

Hey guys, can i get some tablet recommendation for my son, 8 years old. Mainly online classes, gaming (Roblox & Minecraft) and Netflix/Youtube.

i wanted something with a sim card so he can call me or whatapp me if anything important. But i just found out samsung models nowadays dont come with simcard anymore even the most high end Tablet S series.

Maxis brought in one model the Tablet A7 which has LTE.

My other real consideration is Teclast M40 series ?

So what do you guys suggest ?

PS no Apple thanks, i can't commit to another eco system.

My 55 inch TV busted on New Year

So as I finish welcoming the new year yesterday, got a pop sound from my TV as I was going up. Then after that the TV failed to turn on. Boughtthe TV from Harvey Norman in 2015 a 55 LG LED TV. I think the warranty is over, do they fix still outside of warranty?

man so sad welcoming the new year.

Email LG over the weekend, they call me back and arrange a technician to come within 2 working day. Technician came after my working hours. Cost RM 670 with installation. Overall quite happy with ease of repair.

No new TV for me yet.

Just bought new lappy from Dell, noted that everytime i install and open chrome it crashes.

I tried opening in safe mode, and it can open, so i assume some service or app was blocking it.

Uninstall Mcaffee

Re do the chrome again from a clean install but can't get it to work.

Maybe some of the dell app ? but i can't localize it.

So the only one that works is renaming my chrome to chrome1.exe

Then it works flawlessly

But doing this i can't make it my default browser

Anyone has experience with this ?

I tried this

changed chrome.exe to chrome1.exe in the following registry locations

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ChromeHTML\Application (applicationIcon)
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ChromeHTML\DefaultIcon (default)
Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\ChromeHTML\shell\open\command (default)

to get it to work but fails nonetheless
