            <title>Blackberry Warranty under Maxis</title>
            <link>http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1078121</link>
<description>Hai guys... just a topic i had always wondered about after I had sent my Bold for repairs to Maxis. It seems that their warranty is not as great as the phone they&amp;#39;re supplying. I&amp;#39;m a maxis user with a BIS account. Recently, well not recently nymore.... I sent my BB for repairs due to an LCD problem. I sent me phone to Maxis KLCC, and it shocked me to find out that repairs would take three months or longer... &amp;quot;what the f^&amp;amp;K ??&amp;quot; was what came out of my mouth... I asked them why it took so long and all they could say was &amp;quot;it&amp;#39;s up to the vendor&amp;quot; U c what happens is the vendor will determine whether you blackberry will b replaced or sent for repairs to Singapore. and there are five to seven vendors all over KL. Yes SINGAPORE... so i asked how long do they take to decide... Maxis claims... a month... A MONTH?? then why the hell do u even have a warranty? do i get to extend my warranty what with 3 months of its period has been lost to vendor and repairs??? The Maxis clerk went blank... and bisik &amp;quot;the vendor had ordered us not to promise the customer the legnth of time&amp;quot; arrghh so tension, they gave me a replaced 7290 after I demanded one from them only find the loaned set doesnt have a good receiver... sheeesh. Anyone ever sent their Blackberry to Maxis or Celcom? Any luck? How did u guys push for it to be faster??? the amount of time they insist is ridiculous. Now i&amp;#39;m uing a louzy nokia coz the loan set is useless... Just venting out coz i think understand the tecnicality of your warranty is also an important consideration you have to look at, not just price or what not, hope to hear from the users what they&amp;#39;ve gone through... Cheers&amp;#33;&amp;#33;</description>
