I come across this problems,
In my profile folder there is this Searches tab
and inside there is some tabs like index location , recently changed files , everywhere, and so on

and i do realize if i try deleting those files inside those tabs
it will actually delete the real file that is lying some where in the other folders
but its kinda inconvenience in that sense that whatever programs that i used or documents that i typed and opened it will shown there

is there a way to clear it ?

up till now 1 week ago since i used vista in my laptop
it has like 5000 items in that index location folder , everywhere.

any tips ?

HDD Temperature

I have 5 HDDs

WD 160GB WDC WD1600AAJS-00PSA0
32C - 38C

Seagate 250GB ST3250824SV
32C - 38C

WD 320GB WDC WD3200AAKS-00SBA0
31C - 38C

WD 500GB WDC WD5000AAKS-00TMA0
39C - 46C

Seagate 160GB [ Constant Torrenting] ST3160811AS
37C - 46C

All this temperature are in air cond Room temperature and the max is air con and fan off room

Question is why does my 500GB and 160GB hdd so hot even in air cond room
its at 39 in air cond room
my 500GB hdd is empty and its not running or what so ever..
but my 160GB is 24/7 Torrenting.

Can anyone clarify for me?

Hyperlink Problems

When you type www.hotmail.com at ur msn it will show blue color link and usually if u click on the link it will pop up ur browswer to open that site in firefox or IE.

somehow mine dint pop out anymore i wonder why and i keep clicking it jsut highlight that link

and 2nd problem i believe its related is that

programs that have about Us or about me.. at the options there
or even azuerus when you doubleclick on ur NAT at the lower bar there.. it will usually pop up a browser too to the site they linked u..

but mine show up

wondered why ?

Case 2 is that when my firefox is opened aka when i m browswing lowyat or other sites ..

I click at the link it will open the page or link in a new tab in my browser

but when firefox is closed
then it will come out error

again ..

Changing of Motherboard Will it Reset ur Windows ?

I heard when you change more then one hardware in your computer at once then the windows will not detect the windows when u start the pc again and ur forced to reinstall windows and might cause to reformat the harddisk...

so i wondering if its really true..
and ..

my question here is

My motherboard sound card has some problem .. thus i will be sending back for warranty at the same time the shop owner decided to give me a new one ... so that i dont have to wait for so long ......

Both the spoiled motherboard and the new replaced one are same model same brand...

my question here is that

when u change the motherboard... and using back the same processor .. same slot for graphic cards and for harddisk and so on ....

it will make u HDD`s windows unable to detect and start up like usual... or it will force u to reformat ur pc.. and reinstall windows...

lets say if it force me to reinstall .. is there any harm .. overlaping the windows ...
as in reinstall .. it .. when its already installed sometime ago ...
