Just written a simple review on one of the Nikon's latest compact camera - Nikon Coolpix S1100pj.

Some of the interesting features are:
1) Touch screen
2) Built-in editing tool
3) Built-in projector!

Picking a Petrol Station Branch

When you refill your petrol, do you pick a specific station branch (and avoid certain ones) because you believe the station's petrol affects the car's mileage?

Take note: This is not about the selection of petrol brands. It's about the selection of station branch of the same petrol brand.

On Windows, we have Ccleaner by Piriform - which I think is quite useful for cleaning and optimizing the OS.

Is there a similar software for Mac?

Adding subforum to Musicians

The "Musicians" forum is all about rock bands - electric guitars, bass guitarists and drums.

But in fact, musicians are not only about being in a rock band.
There's a category where people play wind instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, etc) and strings as well.

Do consider adding a new "Symphony Orchestra" subforum so that it's easier to symphony band enthusiasts to communicate. Thanks.

Looking for Saxophonists to form Group

[Posted this at Musician Topic forum but doesn't seem to get response because it's more for the Rock Band]

I'm currently playing the Soprano Saxophone and I'm interested in forming my own Saxophone Group which consists of:

1) 1 Soprano Saxophonist (that's me)
2) 1, 2 or 3 Alto Saxophonists
3) 1 or 2 Tenor Saxophonists
4) 1 Baritone Saxophonist

To those who're playing the saxophone and is interested to be part of a Saxophone group (quartet, quintet, etc), feel feel to reply here or PM me. If you know of anyone, do direct them to this thread.

Location: Klang Valley (for a start)
Age range: Doesn't matter
Skills required: Good playing skill & Good sight-reading

Wordpress Cannot Send Email

I've changed my webhost recently and I have a problem with my Wordpress. It's the latest version btw.
But, it can't send out email notifications whenever I have a comment to be moderated.
Yes, I've added the correct email and I've set the correct setting to receive email when a comment needs to be moderated.

Anyone experienced this before?
On the previous webhost, it can send without any extra plugin or configuration.
But on this new webhost, they require me to add a WP Mail SMTP and configure it.

Guidance please?

Places to Gain Exposure for Blogs

Many share it on Facebook and Twitter, or even ping at blog agreggators.
But most of them don't provide much exposure.

Where would you promote your blog to gain good exposure to other people?

DSLR with "Card not formatted" Problem!

I got my Canon 1000D back in September 2009 and it was all well.
However, recently while taking photos - sometimes there's an error and it says "Card not formatted" on the screen.
One minute before I was taking photos with it, and a minute later - suddenly that happens.

Usually I'll remove the SD memory card and replace it back and it will be okay back.
But there was once my SD card totally KO-ed.
I can't retrieve a single picture from it since it went totally "Unreadable".

So I'm wondering, is there a problem with my DSLR? What could the problem be?
I've used 2 different memory cards with it and both experienced the same "Card not formatted" problem. So I don't think it's the memory card's problem.

Anyone experienced this problem before? Do share your situation and clear my doubts as well.
