WTA Graphic cards compatibility

Hai, I hope this is the right place to ask this questions,

I wanted to upgrade my current cpu, and right now I currently have an Asus P8H67-M motherboard and 500W PSU.
Which kind of graphic card would be compatible with the motherboard and which PSU would be advisable to have it with?

I'm searching for a graphic card (preferably using Nvidia) that can go well with gaming (not lagging at max setting atleast) and graphic design programmes (eg:photoshop, Corel painter) and if it can be in the range of RM400-500 or less that would be nice since I need to in new PSU too.

I did some research and found out GTX550ti, is that good enough or are there any other nicer ones?

Hey,
needed help in getting a new graphic card, as i am dont know much about what's the best etc now
since im an art student, using Programs such as Photoshop etc are needed to be used almost all the time.
So im searching for a graphic card that's quite descent to use for gaming (such as teh Starcraft etc without any lag)
and for digital works.

For now, it lags a bit whenever im playing HD vids or in some games such as Prince of Persia etc.

or i might as well just stick to the one i have? what do you think?

My comp specs :

Intel® Pentium® Dual Cpu E2200 @ 2.20Hz
4GB Ram
For monitor am currently using Syncmaster 2343BWX
Current Graphic card is Nvidia GeForce GT220

my budget is about rm400-rm500, if a bit more is okay, not till rm700 xD"
