Hi everyone.

I recently upgraded to a new 20" monitor and i noticed that my games are starting to lag because of the higher resolution (went from 1280x720 to 1600x900).
Here are my specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 @ 2.13GHz

4.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 331MHz

Dell Inc. 0H634K Motherboard

Acer S201HL @ 1600x900

ATI Radeon HD 3400 Series

244GB Seagate ST3250820SV ATA Device

244GB Western Digital WDC WD2500AAJS-75M0A0 ATA Device

Can you guys recommend me what to upgrade so that my games run smoother. I don't need high-end hardware that costs a fortune. I just need something that will play the latest games smoothly on medium.
