Looking for a used MPV for 6 seaters. Any idea in mind, not really familiar with MPV. Only know Estima, Alphard, Advanza and Innova.

Would like to know any good looking MPV that can fetch 6ppl, able to travel long distance and also cheap to maintain? Budget probably RM80k below.

hello guys, need your help. any idea where can i find the rules/undang2 of polis regrading law on the road?

my car recently spoil and i park at the roadside. double signal turned on. the polis saman me when i was away to guide the tow truck to my location. i have snap some photo of my car loading up to the tow truck and also at the workshop, when they are fixing my car at the same day.

i went to the polis station, the staff (i don't think she is a polis officer) know my problem. she said is my fault because i should put the safety triangle. problem is when i buy my car, it doesn't come with that at all.

would like to know if i have my existing number on my car, is it possible to transfer that same number to another 2nd hand car which already have it's own number?

some say can, some say cannot. those who say can, say i must buy a bike. and how it goes is:
existing number 123
2nd car existing number 456
bike number 789

my 123 will go to existing car number, the 2nd car existing number will go to the bike and the bike number will go to my existing car.

is that true? if is doable, what sort of process i need to go through ya?

Lotus Elise S2 - 101 feedback

Hello guys, want to know more about lotus elise s2. Hopefully you guys can share all the feedback about this car ya.

To start, from what i know S2 is using 2zz engine from toyota. I think somewhere in this FnF section, someone did mention only the early S2 is using 1zz engine from toyota. But after checking online portal, I can't find any source about this part. Can anyone verify this please?

Understanding this is a very very very basic car for inside comfort (radio and A/C), just wondering does this car have a 12v socket? I'll head to Lotus very soon to check on the real car, but would like to know upfront before i check them out if possible.

I did read some feedback that this car is not suitable for daily drive, let's say the person that driving this car can take all the harsh and sharp road feedback...is this car reliable for daily drive?

I heard that the A/C is not really good and the cabin area is really hot, how true is that?

For maintenance and repair work, besides the official service center...are there any other reliable place that can fix this car? Any specialized workshop beside service center?

As for this car's original ground clearance.....is it possible for this car to enter and exit mall's parking without trouble? Not sure how low is this car, but general speedbumps will be an issue?

i not sure if bank still able to provide car loan for such car. if don't are there are any other method or special loan from banks that i can apply. would want to stay away from loan shark for sure.

Am looking to have myself a jdm sports car, currently am driving a normal car would really want to own 1 sport car.

At the moment I've short listed the 3 above. Would want to know more about the 3 cars. My budget will be around 130k to 150k.

Newbie on fast car. Zero knowledge about turbos. This replacement will be my daily drive car and am looking for something reliable.

From what I gather Impreza and Evo are totally different from FD2R. Only by comparing Impreza and Evo, they both have their own character. The reason I reluctant to lock anyone of them down is due to the maintenance. I heard Turbo cars will require proper maintenance but Evo engine are much stronger than Impreza.

As for FD2R, it is NA and easier to maintain.

Any words that you guys can share about these 3 models? Each pros and cons if possible

Open Pod vs Drop In air filter

tried to search around regrading this topic but can't find any. if you guys remember that this topic has been created before, please direct me to there. thanks.

question is i'm driving 1.6, auto. i'm now planning to purchase after market air filter for my car. i'm wondering which type of air filter work best for my ride? i did some study a bit but still can't really get the proper answer because different people give different answer.

here is what i heard around and i'm not sure it is real or not.

auto car usually is best fitted with drop in. for open pod is best for manual. can i know why is there such theory?

also some did mention that car at lower cc should use drop in not open pod.

my next step after getting this air filter will be fitting in extractor. but that will not be so soon. so i'm wondering which type of air filter i should get. hope you guys out here can help me a bit on this.

projector headlamp advantages and disadvantages

hi, i'm wondering the advantages of the projector headlamp system.

some told me that it give you a better light focus. some told me they doesn't not project out more light.

some say that the light can travel 30% to 50% more further. some say the light can't travel far because the lens is blocking it

all i know is with projector system, hid and normal bulb won't be that eye sore to the opposite incoming driver.

does anyone mind to enlighten me here about the good and bads about it?

guy, i'm wondering will smoking/darken(or whatever it is) the headlamp cover help to prevent it to turn yellowish in the future?

also smoking the headlamp is how ah? they stick some sticker or they really apply some stuff so that the clear plastic turns into blackish?

guys, i'm new to auto car. drove before auto car around town. but since i'm going to own a auto car very soon, can i know what is the usage of the auto gears?

stuff that i know,
P - Parking
D - Drive
R - Reverse
L - Low (i have no idea when to use this, some say up hill need to shift to L, but i drive up hill also i use D only)
N - NOS..kidding.

Stuff that i want to know:
- going down hill, what gear should i use? D or L? if use L, will it damage my engine or gearbox?
- can i just shift to N when the road is a slope ahead and let my car run freely?
- will my gearbox spoil faster? if in a jam, i keep on shift to N when the car is stop and shift back to D when is about to move?
- say if i accidently rev-ing my car in N, and suddenly i engage to D. will that spoil my gearbox?

it will be very helpful if you guys can top up more info on the way of using Auto Cars.

- a bigger rim
- those stabilizer bar all over the car like ultra racing
- change to hid
- change suspension
- change absorber
- change exhaust system

Hi, is me again.

I know previously I’ve created a few threads asking about 4x4. But due to 90% of my family think it is not suitable for me and they are afraid that the maintenance fee is going to cost a bomb in the future. They ask me to go for a petrol car.

Well, for my objective of getting a new car is use it as daily drive for a very very long duration (now I’m using a classic car as a daily drive, don’t want to ruin the paint job and hopefully wear and tear on my classic will be reduce too).

So using the car for daily drive, I plan to get a car which has less maintenance fee and fuel consumption will be the minimal and is required to run at Ron95.

So far in my mind beside Triton, I only see this few car:

- Ford Fiesta 1.6 = RM80k
- Honda City 1.5 = RM90k
- Forte 2.0 = RM90k (hope they can give rebate due to clearing stock)

Need to know are they reliable car compare to Triton? Also are they going to cost a hole in the pocket when comes to maintenance problem?

Hope all the car owner of the mention above and give me some info.

Hi, I’m nearing to get my 4x4 by end of this month. Need to really get some opinion on the total overview if you guys know anything about it.

Ranger XLT: RM88k otr
The best price I can manage to squeeze from the sales person is the following:
- Free Security Tint
- RM3500 Cash Rebate from the total price.
- Interest rate for 9 years they can offer me is 2.85
I personally think: Ranger is kinda tough in and out. But the interior is kinda sucks compare with Triton. But Ranger has the highest Horse Power compare with Triton, Hilux and even D-Max. I think is 140++

Triton: RM89k otr
There is 2 options for me to pick.
1st option will be:
- RM5500 Cash Rebate.
- Some cheapo Tinting
- 2 Years Maintenance Free (the service center will replace whatever when you send your car for service FOC)
2nd option will be:
- RM10000k Rebate.
- Doesn’t come with anything. Not even the 2 Years Maintenance Free.
- This car is already pre-registered by Federal Auto. Meaning is like buying a 2nd car, but it is brand new from the factory.
Interest rate for 9 years they offer me is 2.8. But they say if I want, they can get for me 2.75.
I personally think: Triton everything is a fair deal. Design is nice, interior is awesome, comes with barometer as well. But what I’m worried is that base on their previous model. Storm, there is many complain on the roof top. The roof top will grow “pimples” rust holes after certain years. The horse power for this 4x4 will be 130++. Not as high as Ranger, but better comparing with Hilux.

Hilux: RM90k otr
They gave me 3 options.
1st option will be:
- RM2000 Cash Rebate from Toyota and RM1000 from the sales person himself.
- I have to buy the bedliner and sports bar separately which actually cost RM2.5k for all.
2nd option will be:
- They provide me the bedliner and sports bar.
- No RM2000 Cash Rebate from Toyota. I only get RM1000 Cash Rebate from the sales person himself.
3rd option will be:
- I don’t take anything from them, they will help me get 2.65 interest rate from the bank. For the 2 option above, interest rate will be at 2.85.
I personally think: Hilux is well known for the quality but I’m not sure the New Hilux quality is as good as the old Hilux or not. Interior is all good to me. But Triton’s interior is still the best. This Hilux only can hit up to 102 Horse Power. I think it is kinda very minimal horse power this 4x4 is giving. Comparing with the Ranger (not XLT tdci) also they have 100+ Horse Power.

D-Max. Didn’t try on this cause so far this 4x4 is not in my list since I’ve decided to get a new 4x4.
