Hey folks,

need some input on some potential legal avenue.

I recently sign up for an Iphone 3gS 16gb where they had a roadshow in my company.last week.
Quite a quick process, provided my creditcard and badge details to sign up for the corporate account.

Now here is the deal.

I decided to cancel it as i have lost interest and made a call to the corporate dpartment
informing my decision. The guy who answer told me that it was not being process and submited my
cancelation. This was yesterday

As of today, this morning he call me up and asking me whether did i sign any declaration form in which
i am bound to the contract. Now, the only part i can recall is filling in the form for my details and which package i will sign up to.
Apart from that, i was told that they will call me to get my consent before they can proceed the billing to my credit card.

So i share this to him and he say that because i have sign, i am legally bound.
Here the deal. The phone is not being sent to me yet, there was no transaction being made or charges transpired with my bank.
and i was told that it would take 3 - 4 weeks for the phone to arrive.

Then he started saying that this was part of the service that Maxis is providing upfront.
Best part was, after i put down the phone, a 3rd party company representing Maxis ask for my permission to proceed
which i say no, i have already contacted maxis for cancelation.

So for any legal experts out there, pls share your thoughts on this.

Need help with 3g connection

I am trying to setup 3g connection on my laptop which runs on Vista.

I have tried on Maxis and Celcom service provider and both give me different error messages.

For Celcom, the error is as below

"the device has been disconnected or is unavailable"

For Maxis, the error is as below

"The device is unavailable."

I have uninstall, reinstall. Did it for all the USB ports on my laptop.

Any bright ideas?
