Hi Sifu,

Im trying to load a xml file using .load method but seems like not working.

string filePath = @"C:\bla\bla.xml";

xmldocument doc = new xmldocument();

doc.load(filePath);

am i doing it wrongly?

how about doc.loadXML(xxxx)? i never use before.. Still new in this area... Kindly advise...

Hi sifus,

I love cooking especially come to chinese cuisine but still i hv limited knowledge and skill in cooking. Im trying to improve day by day.

Just want to know what is cream? especially comes to prepare some soup, eg: mushroom soup. Where can I get it?

Oledb and Excel

Hi folks,

this is first time im implementing oledb for excel.

Below is the query.

CODE

"Select * FROM [" + TextBox1.Text + "$A1:D3]"

As i noe, the data will be selected from the range from A1:D3. This part is has no problem but as i try to select from A1:D1(for exp), no data being shows up. I debug it, yes it has data, but when i bind to gridview, nothing is there.

Is there anything wrong with this?

Here's my question.

I want to create an application as in ASP.net which able to read excel in HTML.

My idea is read all data in excel and fill in datatable and bind to gridview.

Yes, i did it. But the problem now is the worksheet name. Usually what we can see the name in MS Excel is Sheet1,Sheet 2, Sheet 3... etc

What if the user rename the sheet name. When the user rename the Sheet1 to "CodeMaster", example. The name of "CodeMaster" still appear as Sheet1. How can i select as "CodeMaster" rather than "Sheet1"

Hi people,

Im pretty confusing now. Majorly is because of Mysqldatareader.

when im debugging the code, yes it return data but when .Read()

it is null. which it say "Enumeration yielded no result"

It the 2nd time i've seen this problem. Previously, what i did is, i jz copy paste the same block of code and just change the variable and it works! But now it doesnt work anymore.

I can change it by using dataset/datatable, but just wonder why it dont work.

I hit this error when i try to debug

"Could not find installable ISAM". Well, of course i googled how to solved it. Some suggest to edit the registry. Is there any alternative of doing so?

This is my connection string

DB path is the excel path.

Anyone hit this issue before? Kindly enlighten me.

Hi Folks,

I've been working for half a year since i graduated. Currently, working as "Test Engineer" but not testing anything. Im writting code all the while, develop some application, windows application as well as Web. Im not really into programming stuff but i can do it, what i mean here is not my passion. Yet, i havent find what my passion

so what i wanna ask is recently, there are 2 company hiring.

i. SAP background company
ii. Developer,programmer

which one should be the better option? Actually both also will be writting code bt jz different language/tools?

Need some advise. Im in dilemma.

Hi Folks,

Not sure is the right place to ask about this because is not about code.

I jz build some simple web based app and try to upload to the IIS.

I've install the IIS then i copy my project into inetpub/wwwrooot

After that, i launch the IIS manager and add a new sites and the path to my project.

I try to run the page but it fails.

SQL VS MySql

Hi folks,

I have some difficulty on Mysql syntax which is pretty confusing to me.

I try to implement pagination for gridview.

So, i seach through uncle google, i found there is so much info but everything is in sql.

in sql, store prod, they hv this line "SET ROWCOUNT startPage" as example.

Well, in my sql, they dont have the rowcount and i try to do it with count but it doesnt make sense as count return the whole total of a count of item.

Also, there's a parameter with @total int OUTPUT. I dun understand what is the output. is it the same with "OUT" in mysql?

Any mysql expert here can guide?

my input will be start: month/year & end: month/year eg: 11/2011 and 2/2012

What will be the query for that? if there's a date, i found it.

Select * from table where date between '1/11/2011' and '1/2/2012'

How about if only month and year? can someone guide me?

As mention in topic i try to replace \r\n with . I did replace with but the problem is, the text show as well.

How can i solve it?

It is still a question as to how such act was carried out with police supervision even without a permit issued. State officials in a press conference later also questioned why has the OCPD failed to safeguard the public of Penang and so afraid of UMNO.

"Mat rempit won't be interested, unless paid," commented YB Ng Wei Aik, ADUN of KOMTAR. He lambasted the inefficiency of the police that they had failed to carry out their duties to protect the safety of the public as the mob appeared hostile.

"We demand that no one be released by the police until proper investigation has been carried out" he concludes.

"I wonder why were they wearing YELLOW thsirts," commented a spectator. "Isn't YELLOW the colour of Bersih 2.0? Were RED tshirts out of stock?"
