[help] Windows XP Pro on Dell Latitude D630

Hi,

I just bought a Dell Latitude D630 recently. The laptop come with Windows Vista Business Edition preloaded. However, most of my applications do not run well with Windows Vista.

So, I tried to install a fresh copy of Windows XP Pro onto my laptop. Unfortunately, "blue screen: with error message showing pci.sys" appeared when finished loading Windows XP system's setup files and showing "Starting Windows" during the installation.

So assume this is the driver problem with Serial ATA and I need to install "third party driver" during the installation by pressing F6. However, the Windows Setup only allow driver to be loaded from floppy Drive:A and my laptop does not come with a floppy drive.

So, I tried to creat a Windows XP installation cd using nliteOS, but same error still occur.

Just wondering, does anyone successfully install Windows XP Pro on Dell Latitude D630? Please kindly advice.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone try using the Nokia Phone Software Update for Nokia E50?

I tried but it failed!!

1. When launch the Phone Software Update, Nokia PC Suite will show phone disconnected!

2. When finished download the file (abt 70mb), it show download failed and internal error.

Please kindly advice..

Samsung 510N LCD Monitor

Dear all,

looking for help!! S.O.S !!

I have a unit of Samsung 510N LCD Monitor, used abt 2yrs. Now, I am having the following problems:

1. Screen resolution can't go upto 1024 x 768 (if set to 1024 x 768, screen goes blank)
2. Screen go blank after while (it depends, sometime 10minutes, sometime 1hour)

OS: Windows XP PRO SP2
ASRock Intel 865G Motherboard, Intel Pentium IV, 512MB DDR RAM

** Confirm not VGA problem as I have tried the monitor with others PCs, same result!!

So, is this a repairable problems?

Computation of Daily Rate. The following formula is provide in my HR guidelines. In my opinion, the formula isn't correct. What u all think?
