hi guys,

i just read The Star InTech section earlier today and I notice that the new netbook by Acer One D250 is offering a dual boot system with Android/Windows XP.

Since Google's Chrome OS is still far from completion. So, I googled up to know more about this Android OS running on Windows PC and found this article and method how to do it.

http://gadgets.softpedia.com/news/How-To-R...PC-3897-01.html

just wondering, any1 out there tried this?

thanks

Problem with my new HP Mini 110

Hello there,

I would appreciate your kind assistance on the following problems:-

1. I just bought a new HP Mini 110-1006TU netbook around 3 weeks ago. A check in my Device Manager, under ‘System Devices’; i found there is an error with a device called 'ISA PNP Read Data Port'. When i check its property. It shows the Device status as "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".What is the device function? I have tried to uninstall and re-install the device, but I still have the same error message. I have tried to update its driver via an online search, but it can't locate any driver for this device. I checked with my friend which bought the same model as mine, that 'ISA PNP Read Data Port' doesn't need a driver to 'function'. I called HP Service Centre in HP Tower, Bukit Damansara. I have to wait for 3 days for their technician to rectify my problem. If it's hardware problem. then it's 5 days. hmm...

2. I have tried to insert a MMC card from my Nokia phone to my netbook. But, it does not shows in My Computer. But, i can hear a ding sound to indicate that my netbook has detected my MMC card. What could be wrong? Is this problem related to the problem above?

3. A few days after i purchased my netbook. I enabled System Restore. How do i disable it back? The check box to disable it is not clickable. It stated "Turn off System Restore (Disable by Group Policy)"

I really look forward to hear from you guys soon. Thank you.
