Free bus suddenly cost 60rm

Here we go again,

Apparently, the shuttle bus in cyberjaya, which have 2 buses, one cover east area and the other one the west area are not going to be free anymore .
They are going to charge us 1rm/ride. It does not seem a lot, but for student that go to Uni on everyday(excluding week-nds) its going to be 3 ride/day and 20 days, so meaning rm60. Suddenly everyone saw a hole in their wallet

Ok here is how it works in cyberjaya, there is the bus named shuttle 1 that goes to all the good places, University(limkokwing/MMU), parks, foodcourts, banks, small mall etc. Everyday students wake up and normally we just go to the bus stop and wait for this free bus(shuttle1) to come. There, we take 1 ride only to go to Uni. So no complain about that, but here is the thing, when we go back home, the bus drop us at the station and we need to wait there for it to get out 20-30mins later to continue our journey and actually we did not really mind cause it was free. But then...

Suddenly, they put a notice that we have to pay for 1Rm/Ride, so if we go in the morning its 1 ride, then return back home its 2 rides, cause we need to wait for the bus to get in station then get back and funny part, drop us only 2 busStop further( we pay 1rm to travel for 3mins) and trust me its a long distance and the sun gonna cook us if we walk. Even the buses that covers putrajaya charge onli 0.5Rm and we somehow travel for 30mins.

And the bus last year was on a 15 mins basis, but this year it changed to a 30mins basis and to 3 rides:)
We, students at limkokwing don't even have a sheltered busStop anymore, cause the driver is so lazy to get in the real bus stop built inside the Uni that they just take us from outside.
And if it's raining, they still don't want to come inside and sometime even where there is around 20-30 people waiting, they only open 1 door. So inhuman/insensitive those drivers.

Within their notice, they put an inquiry email address :

But of course it is not working at all, I have a bunch of friend who tried to email them. But the email keep bouncing back.

So what I did, was email every email I could find on their website:

I finally got a reply, and I dnt know but I found it quiet like, we are sorry but you have to pay

BUt the 1 thing I do find outrageous is the I paid 0Rm/month to suddenly I pay 60Rm/month. I don't know for people out there, but I find that its quiet expensive for only 10mins to go Uni and 7 mins to go bus station and 3mins to go 2 busStop further.

I do not know about how this change can suddenly be put in action within 2 weeks notice and without our consult, the students(the main users). It's not helping us at all, its only helping them and the taxi drivers.

What do you guys think that can be done about it?
Am even thinking of buying a scooter for next semester the fuel will be cheaper than paying for the bus

Hello dear forumers , I really dnt know where to ask this except from here lol. I usually check lowyat for tech stuff only but I recently discovered that its not just tech who get a voice around here
Am nt a local, just a foreign student here. One thing that I wanted to know is about the law on noise pollution in Malaysia, mainly concerning construction site.

I got this new building getting built next to my window, I dnt mind them @ all for their noise during the day but come on 2Am and they r still drilling holes and the crane engine is so noisy.
Am actually in my finals and its getting annoying, I normally sleep early to wakUp early( more productive ya ) and with all the assignments that I currently have , its kind of a pain to suddenly wake up @ 1am cause suddenly they start drilling something or start hammering some heavy metal.

So is there any law in this country that allow me to actually take up the phone and call up the cops? and they can do something about it?
