Would like to know if there is a thread dedicated solely for forum support on the Nintendo Wii.

For certain noobs like my self to ask some questions and for forummers to voluntarily share answers.

My situation :-

I have just updated my Wii and noticed the following.

Prior to updating, i can just switch off my Wii off by using the Wiimote and the power indicator on the console will strait switch to red.

Now after the update the system goes on light orange ala standby mode when i off the console via the wiimote.

Any body has this same situation?

If i press the power button long enuff the light will change to red.

p/s If there is a thread on Voluntary Technical Support please forgive my starting a new one.

Need Help on Networking

Hi guys,

I have a question on IP networking. ok here goes ...

I have a Ubuntu Server thats working as my gateway to the internet ok.
Lets say the config is like so :-

2 NIC
- 192.168.0.1 - Local LAN
- Out to Streamyx Connetion

Internet Sharing is done via Firestarter + Basic Firewall

Now lets say i want to add WRT54GX c/w SRX Linksys WiFi AP.
Lets say i want to enable DHCP on the WiFi AP and share the internet out.

The WiFi AP's IP is lets say 192.168.0.254 with DHCP

So if i login via WiFi and get a DHCP IP Address the Gateway auto sets to 192.168.0.254

I would like to route that to 192.168.0.1 instead to my Ubuntu Server.

Does anybody know what my problem is? I tried to configure the IP settings in the WiFi AP but tak boleh.

The Enterprise Volume Management System (EVMS) Project has the goal of providing unparalleled flexibility and extensibility in managing storage. It represents a new approach to logical volume management for Linux. The architecture introduces a plug-in model that allows for easy expansion and customization of various levels of volume management.

EVMS provides a single, unified system for handling all of your storage management tasks. EVMS recognizes all of the disks on your system and allows for a variety of partitioning schemes. Software-RAID and logical volume groups can be managed in EVMS. Filesystems can be created and checked, and are automatically updated when changes are made to the underlying volumes. With EVMS, there is no longer a need for several individual utilities for performing each of these tasks.
