Setup a studio or buy flasher?

Hi there,

I & my wife have online business selling blouse, baju kurung and etc. We have brought Nikon3100 for product photoshooting but the image seem not professional and lively.

So I need the advise how can we shoot the best for our product. Do I need to setup a studio or just buy the flasher?
