I am using 9700 and recently having some lcd problem and planned to send it for warranty. I never syn once my phone with bb desktop months ago. So how do i backup all my data here? issit sun with desktop software again ? or need to use outlook? and with synchronisation, everything will be backup-ed? or only contacts and text messages?
Please guide me how to do it. Thanks

i had a bad experience at Brightstar.
what is the difference between cracking and dead spot?
I have problem with my phone which looks like a dead spot in it but the service center doesnt accept my warranty claim, and telling me it's a crack.
My screen has no any hairlines or surface crack and i have done nothing on it, it turned into that suddenly.
can someone help me?

is toshiba satellite m200 has fan controlling chip? i was told by the shop that my fan is not working bcoz the chip is not functioning and asked me to replace a new 1 .....and how much to repair the fan and gpu chip for this model? pls let me know asap i am worry being charged overpriced...any technicians here?

Details of the complaint : hmmm i bought a blackberry from this guy and i've ask my dad to cod with him. he claimed that his phone has 6 more months warranty from ap company. So my dad went cod with him. My dad dosen't really familiar with gadget stuffs, so he ask this guy to show him the function of the phone and the guy did. After i got the phone i realise that the trackball and keyboard has some problem, so i check the receipt. Surprisingly the receipt is a piece of paper written and cop himself. I asked him how to settle that. He ask me come down to meet him. As i'm going back to my university so i've asked him if i could fix it myself and send the bill to him. He asked me for quotation and I've tell him the amount and he agreed that. I ask him to bank in money for me 1st but he said he bz with work and say will bank in end of the month. As he never failed to answer my callas and is being nice in the conversation so i trusted him. At the end of June, i called him again he say bz will bank in that thursday. So i wait until that thursday. After that week i cant reach his cell phone number anymore....haizzzz didn't expect a businessman like him will cheat a student that way....=(

anything that i can do with this?

Anyone deal with this guy before? I would like to know how to reach him. He owe me money and now i cant reach him trough phone. Any idea on where is he living and vehicle number? I really ran out of idea so i posted here, hoping that someone could help me with this. Thanks
