Parking at Sheraton PJ for non guests

Hi,

I have a lunch appointment tomorrow at Sheraton PJ. Just wondering how much the parking rate there as I've not been to this hotel before.
I'll be there for about 3 hours. Hope the rate don't cost a bomb.

Not sure to park at the hotel or park elsewhere cheaper but still walking distance. Maybe hotel armada?

Online check in must print boarding pass?

I'd like to know is it compulsory to print boarding pass after online check in?

I'm asking this because I'm going to Poland with Qatar Airways but I didn't pay extra to select my seat.

For my flight from KL to Poland, I will do online check in at home, print boarding pass, go KLIA early to drop off luggage at the counter.

For my return flight from Poland to KL, I can do online check in at Qatar Airways website 48 hours prior to departure.

So I plan to online check in and select my seat (free of charge during online check in), but my hostel don't have printer to print boarding pass.

Will the airline counter accept it if I show the soft copy boarding pass to them from my phone and they print the boarding pass for me? I will go to the airport early because i have luggage to check in too.

I bought a condo at Subang for investment and 2 banks ie. PBB and OCBC came back to me with their loan package. Need some advise because OCBC officer said their package is better. I'm 44 years old and this is my 3rd property.

Public bank package (conventional):

Loan: RM477,260
ODLTA: RM3,959 (self finance)

Total: RM477,260

Rate: 3.85%
(SBR+0.85%,SBR@3.00%)
Tenure : 26 Years
Instalment : RM2,430
ODLTA coverage of RM75,000 FIXED for 13 years

OCBC package:

Loan amount: RM 443,851 + Insurance RM rm18,331
Tenure: 22 years
Interest: 3.8%
Instalment: RM 2619

(Self pay by cash)

MRTA coverage 13 years + 4 years under construction, premium charge RM18,331

OCBC said their tenure shorter is because have to minus under construction period 4 years, insurance mrta amount is minimum amount. If compare with other bank shorter tenure can save more interest, and OCBC interest rate is better.

I'm confused which one should I choose. And whether I can negotiate lower insurance from ocbc or not.

Hi, can I get some recommendations for short term investment.

I have about RM40k cash in my bank (excluding emergency fund). I'm not good in stock market. Is the best and safest way to invest this money is via bank fixed deposit?

Looking to invest around max 1 year duration. And I'm not a risk taker, so no stock market or forex for me. I'm in my early 40s, married & no kids.

Good gynae in Klang Valley

Hi all,

May I have recommendations for good gynae at Klang Valley area, preferably female?
Last week I did medical check up at Beacon Hospital and from the ultrasound, I have small cyst and uterine fibroid. The medical Dr said nothing to worry for now and she asked me to see a gynae in 3 to 5 months for further check.
My period is considered normal (just few days late or early) every month.
My definition of good gynae means patient to explain my condition, not moody or won't answer if you don't ask questions. I don't mind the waiting time cos I know good Dr usually has long patients queue for him/her.

How much bank loan to apply for new car

Need some advise please.

I have decided to buy new myvi. Price about rm50k. I'm thinking of putting downpayment about rm20k.

The salesman say if apply higher loan, can get better rate from bank. He suggest apply rm30k loan for 3 years and monthly repayment is abt rm1k. I can still afford monthly rm1k.

If I apply rm30k loan for 5 years, my monthly repayment would definitely be lower. Actually, is 3 or 5 years loan almost the same? I mean the bank would have factored in the interest rate, etc and i dont think I'll lose or gain more if i apply 3 or 5 years right?

Sorry I'm a noob in calculating interest rates, etc. Hope can get some advise here.

Filing income tax Joint/Separate/Self?

I'm not married so I cannot answer for my colleague.

My colleague's husband got retrenched since late 2017 and he become Grab driver until now. His Grab income is not taxable yet, according to her. She is the only one with permanent job earning more than RM6k a month.

She want to know whether she should file her income tax under "Joint in the name of husband" or "Separate" or "Self, whose spouse has no income/no source of income/tax exempt income"?

For her husband's income tax, she said his page is blank because his income is not taxable. Should he still file income tax and select "joint in the name of wife" or "Separate" or no need to file income tax at all?

Hope to get your answer. I am also curious to find out.

L shape sofa

Been planning to buy new L shape fabric sofa for my living room for a long time cos my current one very old already.

Yesterday made quick decision and paid 100 deposit to get this sofa at klang parade roadshow. The company is Gio Italia Furniture (never heard of it before) and they are related to Silentnight (company that does mattress from UK).

Promo price is 3999 and we nego to 3800. 5 years warranty for frame, sofa seat and cushions.
The sales guy said it is export quality. The frame is made of kayu meranti.
We can choose fabric colour and pattern later. This whole set is what we will get ie. 4 big back cushions, 2 medium side cushions and 6 small pillows. Got zip and can take out fabric to wash.

Hubby likes it a lot. Feels comfortable when we sit and lie down... the sofa seat is thick and quality not bad. Is 3800 a good buy?
Hope we didn't make wrong decision.

Hi,
I need serious and urgent advise. My dad 67 years old complaint chest pain since last week. Today went to Gleneagles checkup. Dr said his heart weak. Suggested him to do angiogram next week. Cost 6k. Depending on the result, he ask us to prepare at least 30k.

Besides Gleneagles, I read that Hospital Serdang and IJN are recommended.

We don't have so much money and dad doesn't have medical insurance. If we go IJN, can we appeal to them for discount?

Or if go Hospital Serdang, is the waiting time really very long?

My company dinner is coming soon and my boss ask me to do a simple slideshow showing the company history until current day. He will give me photos and 2 songs & a video to insert in the slideshow. Total about 8 minutes long.
