Puzzled with iphone - NEED HELP!

Dear Forumers,

Ok here is the story - i bought an iphone 3gs 16gb 2 mths back somewhere in lowyat plaza. i was told off that the set would need blackrain to start the iphone once its shut off or out of battery. for the past 2 mths i just maintained to get the iphone charged by the rite time. so coincidence i saw a thread here selling services for OS4 themes and features and so i went for it. the moment i off my iphone and wanted to on them back, blackrain came out an error something like ADL.dll missing. i tried reinstall the blackrain.exe from google but still happens to be the same. i went to my friends shop and luckily 1 of his cpu can on the blackrain without error [ his others 3 cpu same error ] then i got to know that my piece of iphone comes from US and currently its working on 3.1.2 version and i was told i cant update to 3.1.3 version or else my phone will get no signal from the service providers [sim lock set] after a moment i saw my blackrain and cydia icons on the application starts missing and to get my phone restore, it will automatically update to 3.1.3 version [which i cant let it happen] i tried many times to reinstall backrain but it wouldn't work. Pls advise me on this cos i am totally puzzled up and freak out too if my iphone get to sleep if i accidently updated the version ... any Pro can give me tips or solutions on this?
