Need help picking Monitor

Hi, I'm looking for an LCD/LED monitor for my new computer. Problem is, I'm not too sure which and I was hoping to get some advice
The criteria for the monitor I'm looking for is:
1. Has a size from 20 to 24 inches
2. Must support 1920 x 1080 resolution
3. Good value for money
4. Can be LCD/LED, I'm not too picky
I'll mostly be using the computer for playing games or multimedia viewing. Thus, a budget gaming monitor.
As far as I've read around, AOC offers great value for money. While, from what I can gather Samsung and Asus makes pretty descent monitors at a acceptable price.
Hence, I'll be leaning towards these 3 brands: AOC, Asus and Samsung.
Some advice please. Thank you.

Gaming Rig Advice

After weeks of planning, I've come up with this build for my gaming rig.

Current Revise
PROCESSOR – Intel Core i5 2500 – 625
MOTHERBOARD – Asus P8P67 PRO – 635
RAM – Kingston 4GB DDR3-1333 x1 – 129
HDD – Samsung Spinpoint F3 (HD103SJ) 1TB	– 165
GFX CARD – Asus ENGTX560Ti – 870
ODD – Lite-On DVD Writer – 60
PSU – Silverstone Strider Essential 600W – 279
CASING – Cooler Master 690 II – 240
WiFi CARD – TP LINK WN350GO – 29

Total – 3032

Before I move on to my questions, I'd like to state that,
1. I do not intend to OC my equipment thus omission of the wonderful Intel K series
2. I do intend to use SLi on my system in the near future (yes, I am aware of the required PSU and cooling upgrade) thus, an SLi ready motherboard would be nice

My queries are,
1. Are my quoted prices right or can I go lower?
2. Is there any notable performance difference between the Kingston Value Ram and the Hyper X?
3. If I intend to use it mostly for gaming, worksheets and photo editing. Will Hyper Threading benefit me in any way?
and the most important thing is,
3. Is the build right?

Much help and advice required
Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm weirdly fond of the P8P67 PRO and ENGTX560Ti but, I'm still open to suggestion
