I received offer letter together with background check because normally any company, will do background check first then give offer letter. Do you have experience this before, what if i failed on background check and do I get any legal action or just termination. In the offer letter written about termination.

Penang to allow some businesses to operate twice

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang government has given the green light for several businesses to operate twice weekly during the Movement Control Order (MCO) beginning this Monday.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said this was decided at the Penang Security Council Committee (JKKN) which he chaired this morning.

He said among outlets that would be allowed to operate every Monday and Thursday, from 8am to 2pm, include those selling agricultural inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides, hardware shops, pet shops and spare parts shops.

Chow said immediate repairs will also be allowed for critical work as well as the cleaning and spraying of insecticides to avoid harm to the public.

Others that will be allowed include maintenance work for 10 critical sectors and banking services - where departments relating to IT and cash management are allowed to operate.

Chow said the decision to allow such sectors to operate twice weekly was also discussed and approved during a meeting with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in Putrajaya on Tuesday.

“After the meeting, I had my state Security Council meeting, approved and decided on the days and time for operation,” he said.

The government had imposed the MCO on March 18 and it has since been extended to April 14.

The MCO was enforced as a preventive measure to contain the Covid-19 pandemic, which has so far claimed 50 lives.

Lazada Scam Reseller

Actually, I want to buy new handphone so I was searching in Lazada so there are sale on Samsung S10 and the reseller request to Whatsapps for further enquiry. After the conversation, he insist me to pay by bank in not thru Lazada so I told him I will decide and let him know soon. However, I knew he is a scammer and the incident was happened on 24/6/2019. Today, I received a call from him but I was rejected the call so he was whatsapps me that currently there are some promotion bla bla. I was replied to him that I already bought a new handphone. After that, he told me that I am part of their raffle draw and I won a Nova 4e but there are a seller center code will be sent to me and I need to need forward the code to him. I was received a message from Lazada for 6 digit code and the message was written "Use this code to verify your lazada seller account. Never share your code with anyone under any circumstances" but I never share the code to him and blocked him too. Actually, the seller tried to reset my Lazada account password and login the account too.

The scammer number is 018-7833603

Today I was check it out price for Huawei Mate 20 Pro in Lazada but I come across there are price for RM 500. For me, seems like under costing and I think this is new technique to scam people's money. The funniest part is the buyer need to claim warranty under Apple and it was written there "1 Year Apple Warranty from ready Stock!".
