Hi guys,

My problem is this

I need a 5 meters cable between my displayport monitor and my displayport laptop but I can't find any 5m DP cable in Malaysia.

But what I did find is HDMI female to display port male. So since all is digital signal, is it possible that I buy 2 DP to HDMI converter so that I have DP male at each end and put a 5M HDMI cable in between?
