Consultant or Chemist?

I am in great dilemma as i am working as an associate consultant in a small consultancy company with very low starting pay. They find my masters not relevant to their field and i started of with a degree pay. I like the job as it is project based and i get to exposed to lotsa industries and experiences. We deal mainly on the operational management. The thing that worries me is how far can i go being in consultancy. i heard consultants earn alot. I am from a science background. Do u think i have a chance to work in the big 4?

At the same time, I was offered a job as a senior chemist in a big factory. The pay is a 1.2k jump. The only drawback is that, i am not sure what will the job advancement will be being a chemist. What's the max payout ?

I'm in dilemma. Would love to hear from the experienced. Shall i take the job as chemist with better pay in big company, or stay in my current job, that might have bigger job advancement with low pay and small company?

Details of the complaint :

This incident happened last Friday. LuluNg agreed to swap her bags with mine. So, on Friday morning, we agreed to shipped out our bag at the same time. We exchanged tracking number and waited until Monday (that Sat is the first Saturday of the month). So, during the weekend, she sms me (her number : 012 2550830) again saying she has got other bags to swap. On Monday morning, she gave me another tracking number. This time i didn't ship out my bag as i wasn't feeling well. On Monday night, i sms her asking if she has received my bag as i don't get hers. She reassure me that sometimes poslaju takes abt 1-3 days to arrive. I'm beginning to be suspicious over this person, so i said i'll wait for her bags to arrived before me sending out the second bag. On the other hand, i checked her two tracking numbers (EN288251063MY,EN285005899MY) given to me online, one is invalid,another is being shipped). Thinking that she might have given me the wrong tracking number for the invalid one, i waited another day for the other to arrived. Yesterday, I called up poslaju customer service to enquire on the status of the valid tracking no. They told me the parcel has been delivered to the recipient (by the name Molly in Klang) on Monday noon. That is impossible!!! That tracking no. was given on Monday morning and i didn't receive any parcel. Now, the scammer disappeared. She refused to reply my sms or pick up the call.
