I am planning to get a samsung wave s8500, and i wonder is it possible to change its OS to android 2.1??

N8 versus N900

Here comes the brand new N900 with latest maemo platform. Well obviously maemo os is definitely better than symbian ^3. But the problem is it's too new and there's no much applications for us to use. I believe that Ovi is going to create more application for maemo os but it going to take some time. in the mean while, people tend to install windows like windows 95 onto n900 as it has a powerful ram and specific components which is necessary. however, N900 owns a 5megapixel camera is only slight of the delight.

On the other hand, N8 is going to launch soon, may be in a month or two. Or may be less than that. What really attracts me a lot is the camera it has. 12megapixel! imagine that u can throw alway all the big sized dslr camera and phone as well as a netbook, and u can enjoy all its functions in just a small smartphone. how cool can it be. But what disappointing is that n8 owns symbian^8 instead of maemo.

Here's my question: i wonder what if maemo os is install in n8? or is it capable in n8? which phone would u prefer if u get to own one of the phone?

Based on the My Webpagewebsite given, it seems like N8 is the latest symbian so far and it seems to be pretty cool. Can anyone provide me info on whether is it launch in Malaysia? And the price is? Thanks you [attachmentid=1673263]
