Meitu is very gray on vip and svip plans.
After subscribing to vip plan, it still says I've exhausted this month's usage when i want to use image quality feature although i haven't use at all.

Anyone can help me regarding my WD Red?

I bought a new WD Red.
Tried to put into my computer as secondary HDD, and when I try to initialize, it says "The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error".
Tried to find Google for all possible solutions eg diskpart, but problem still persists.
Tried to change my SATA cable, still the same.
Tried to install OS on the HDD, but Windows cannot detect the HDD.

Any solutions, guys?

SINGAPORE (ANN): A 31-year-old woman has been arrested after she took off her clothes - and underwear - during an altercation in Middle Road on Thursday (Oct 24).

In a video circulating online, a woman is seen chasing after a man wearing a red T-shirt, before tearing off her dress and her panties while shouting and pointing at the retreating man.

Another man in a white top pulls up her underwear before escorting her away from the scene.

The police said they received a call for assistance at 2.11am on Thursday and that the woman had been arrested for public nuisance.

In Singapore, nudity in a public place or a private place exposed to public view is considered obscene and is an offence. The offence carries a fine of up to $2,000, a jail term of up to three months, or both.

The police said they are investigating the incident. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network

Media Prima hit by ransomware

PETALING JAYA: Media Prima Berhad's computer systems have been locked out by cyber attackers who are demanding millions of ringgit in ransom.

The media company, which runs a stable of TV/radio channels, newspapers, advertising and digital media companies was hit by a ransomware attack last Thursday (Nov 8), The Edge Financial Daily reported.

Ransomware is a type of malicious software (malware) designed to block access to a computer system until a sum of money is paid.

The report, quoting a source, said the attackers are demanding 1,000 bitcoins to release access to the computer systems.

This means that the attackers are demanding a ransom of RM26.42mil.

Media Prima is listed on Bursa Malaysia's main board.

It operates, among others, three national newspapers, namely New Straits Times, Berita Harian and Harian Metro; free-to-air television stations, namely TV3, TV9, ntv7 and 8TV; and four radio stations, namely Fly FM, Hot FM, One FM and Kool FM.

When contacted, Media Prima group managing director, Datuk Kamal Khalid, declined to comment when asked to confirm whether the company has been hit by ransomware.

He urged The Star to get in touch with the company's corporate communications department for comments, and efforts are ongoing to contact the department.

The Edge Financial Daily report said it was not immediately known whether Media Prima's data has been breached, and whether the media group would be suffering financial losses due to the ransomware attack.

It quoted another source saying that Media Prima's office email has been affected but that the company has migrated the email to another system.

The source reportedly added that Media Prima has decided not to pay the ransom.

my office has 7 PCs, and all of them connect to an 8-port switch (d-link DES1008D) using RJ45 & motherboard built-in NIC port
the problem now is whenever we access to other's pc, it tends to be lagging (it takes a while to load)
but this one only happen for the first time only until next restart/shutdown
no more this problem when accessing the same PC for the 2nd time

all my 7 PCs have to set static IP, otherwise we can't detect each other's PC and it won't automatically assign by DHCP
i never encounter such problem with router before... this is the first time and experience of fixing a switch
may i know what's the problem, and how to solve this?
please help... thank you

My scenario:
I've learnt VB6.0 in college. That was 5 years ago. Now, I would like to pick up the knowledge again, but I've forgotten most of them. I still remember some, but not all, especially database (MS Access). So is there any book/reference guide to recommend me?

I am dealing with a window application. I use treeview for my main menu. When I press on the child node, I will get to the page I set but, when I go back to my main menu treeview, I couldn't get to the page again when pressing on the same child node. It can only work when I press the parent node then press the same child node.

*btw, i'm on VB in VS 2005, doing window application for VB

okie, i've got maxis 3g connect (data card) ready and PCMCIA-to-PCI card
i tried to plug them both on my PC (desktop), follow the instructions given by maxis carefully and correctly
but whenever i plug in my data card, my windows will hang for 3 secs, and a blue screen pops up
so i wonder, anyone of you guys using the same way with mine to get connected to 3g?
what's the problem anyway?
