CD Audio Quality

I seem to have problems burning Audio CD's and getting varying listening quality.
Been burning songs using Nero which are 320kbps mp3 format songs but for some reason, the quality of some songs are not satisfactory. Songs which are sourced from 192kbps even sounds better than the 320kbps. Some songs sound almost like CD quality while some songs sound bad.

I have a few questions:

1)	Is using Nero the correct method to burn audio CDs? Or perhaps there is a setting which I missed out. I normally just burn using default settings.

2)	Must I convert the mp3 files to a certain format 1st before burning cd audio? Most of my songs are recognized as 'Winamp media file' since I use winamp as my default music player

3) Mp3 192kbps-320kbps songs which i listen to on my pc sound almost cd quality but when i burn them to CD audio, the quality sounds poor. Not all, some are good while some are bad. How come like that one?

3)	Any other procedures you may think I missed out?

My burner is LG GSA-H10N. Is this a suitable writer for burning audio cds? The firmware I'm using is the latest one. The cds I'm using are verbatim which are made in japan. I dun think the media is the problem cos I still find certain songs in 192kbps sounding better than 320kbps mp3 songs.

Really appreciate all ur help!

Artic Silver 5 on GC rams

Im currently using a graphic card in which the heat sink cooler comes in contact with both the gpu and rams.I have a tube of AS5 and have already applied it on the gpu core and have noticeable drop in temps.

Is it safe to apply AS5 on graphic card rams? Currently there is some sticky white compound appied on the rams.

The GC rams does not have the connectors (kaki) protruding out . Seems to be underneath the rams and not visible.

safe or not?
