Pipeline Engineer in Oil n Gas

i got an offer for pipeline engineer in KL with starting salary 2.2k and 3 years bond. and need to give an answer to them this friday.

i dont have any experience whatsoever as a pipeline engineer. mostly the job is checking the pipeline integrity but there will be no design.

so just wanna ask u guys here how the carrer prospect?

right now im working in a different industry with salary 2.7k and i lived in penang, but i really want to join OnG industry.

is it worth to take the offer?

any advise would be appreciated.

edit: the thing that hold me back is the 3 years bond and the offer letter stated that i cant join any company's competitor for 2 years period after i resign from the company.

anyone can clarify this?

coz in asus website and the mobo manual, it says 790gx, but when i run cpu-z, it shows 780g for the chipset.

am i missing something here?

can u guys recommend me a 2k gaming rig? (2k is the max budget, but the lower the better)

just pc only..no monitor, no keyboard and mouse

and i dont OC..well, maybe i may try to learn OC a little bit

my preference:-

processor: C2D (i have 8400 in mind if its within the budget)
GC: 4850 or 4830, but please recommend brand
**edit: if can get 4870 i would be in heaven

is these two have no problem with gaming 1080 res?

ok, here's the story..

once upon a time, me and my gf live far far away from each other..for 5 month, only can meet once..but 1 day, she got a job close to where i live. but just b4 she got the job, i decide to pursue a career far from my hometown..

now she got the job in my hometown, she really upset because i gonna leave her again and she said she cant live without me beside her and insist to not let me go..

if i stay, i cant pursue my career but if i go, i really gonna make my girl cry (and my mom)

any gurus can give me some advise?

p/s: its 2 years of relationship, and breaking up with her is out of question

i think i wanna take a taxi to go to the office, but i dont kno how much it will cost me

im a degree holder and i just graduate last month..

the thing is, without thinking i applied for diploma requirement as site supervisor at penang, interviewed and i got offered by the company.

the problem is, the basic salary they give me is only 1.2k+allowance 150..i know i cant be choosy at my first job but the basic salary seems to be too low..
im afraid that after 1 or 2 days/weeks after im accept the job, i got another offer for another better job because i applied many many job vacancies through online job matching and it will be hard for me to attend the other interview for other job offer

what do u guys think? should i accept this offer and work for 2-3 month or just wait for another job?

any experience guy out there kind enough to give me an advise?

btw, im starting the job at 9 jun and still waiting for acceptance letter from the company

windows+tab in vista

i'm using windows vista..i can't view the windows+tab in 3D..

when i press the windows+tab, it views just like the normal alt+tab in xp..not even in thumbnail button..it just list down the program names..

in taskbar>properties, the option for view in thumbnail also is greyed out..i can't enable or disable it..

can anyone tell me what happen to my windows vista?

btw, im using a toshiba notebook with graphic media accelerator with 1gb ram..

when i send a file, like other IM client, a confirmation from the other side is needed. but the problem is, the window confirmation didnt appear at the other side. sometimes when i send a file, the status shows that the file was finished sending but at the other side, nothing happen. the same thing happen if my friend want to send a file to me.

can anyone help me?

im using pidgin and my friend using Yahoo messenger.
