UMobile internet unstable?

Hi all,

If this is the wrong place to post, please advise the correct thread/place to post it, thanks.

I noticed since Sunday, Umobile internet is extremely slow and unstable. Those using only for social messenger may not notice, but since I play games as well the effect is very obvious.

My game will frequently disconnect, or sometimes it won't even load/connect into the server (playing online btw). At first I thought it is the issue near my office, but apparently even in town I face the same problem.

Anyone else having the same problem? I hope it's not just my phone finding fault with me I tried contacting their support, but it's useless as usual, no news since Monday.

If anyone can offer suggestion/help it'd be great. Thanks.

Want to ask advice/opinion on job offer

Hi all,

I'm currently working as a contract research officer in a university. My contract ends this year and am offered two contracts in the same university but different centers. Problem is each offer has its own + and -, and am having problem deciding on them. Hope you guys can offer some advise/opinion on the matter. To simplify them:

Offer A (An extension of my current contract)
+ Same pay (about 2.3k)
+ 50/50 chance for bonus this year
+ A more relaxing workplace
- Low to moderate opportunities for self-development and building up CV

Offer B (A new appointment/contract)
+ Very high opportunities for self-development and building up CV
- 50/50 chance for lower pay (about 200 less)
- No bonus (since it's new appointment)
- Very stressful workplace (Working hours at least 8.10 - 18.30)
- First month (January) I only get half month salary as appointment only starts 15th

Current commitments: Car loan + allowance to family, bills, food, etc (usually I have almost nothing left to spare)
Additions from next year onwards: Health card (family), saving for low-cost flat, saving for Masters

From the list above it's quite obvious Offer A is better, but I may need Offer B's self-development opportunities (as well as opening doors to other postgraduate offers) to take up Masters asap, especially if I am to convince universities to offer any kind of scholarship program.

Problem is if I take up B, the sudden decrease of income may hit me hard, so am very lost at the moment.

Would really appreciate any input/suggestion/advice on the matter. If I should be posting this in another section instead please do point it out and I will do so.

Thanks!

P.S: Sorry for the wall of text. Thought I may need to elaborate more to get proper input.
