Hi Guys,

I'm 31 and finally I decided to get a medical card/ insurance.

My medical condition as of today:

1. Ankle ligament torn (due to sports). Happened last year.
- 1st doc suggested surgery. I consulted 2 more doctors in another hospital. 2nd and 3rd doc said I can carry on without surgery as long it doesn't stop me from my daily activities. So after 2 months of rehab session I ruled out surgery and I feel normal.

2. Fatty liver (health screening report September 2015).

Are the above serious medical issues for the insurer? I don't want to hide my medical history because I know few years down the road it may cause me problem when if something related to the above strikes.

What I need?

Any medical insurance/ card that offers coverage without extra loading/ exclusion for the abovementioned condition. Are there any?

I welcome feedback from agents who have handled the above condition and I'm willing to buy from you. I have met a few agents before. They are unsure whether the above case can go without extra loading/ exclusion.

So please shed your opinion if you have come across similar case. Presumptions/ speculations will not help me.

Otherwise what I have in mind is apply to a few companies simultaneously (of course declare the history). Select the one which offers me without extra loading/ exclusion and cancel the other policies within the 15 days cooling period.

Is this a practical way forward?

San Miguel Corporation has bought Exxon Mobil’s downstream oil business in Malaysia which are Esso Malaysia Bhd (EMB), ExxonMobil Malaysia Sdn Bhd (EMMSB), and Exxon Mobil Borneo Sdn Bhd (EMBSB). Physical assets include the Port Dickson refinery.

What is the direct implication of this?

No more engineering/ technical recruitment by ExxonMobil in M’sia?

And the current ExxonMobil Malaysia employees lose their identity & thrill of working for the No.1 Company in the world?

Hey experienced O&G sifus I mean only experienced sifus… Where would you begin your career in O&G if given a second chance in life? (Bearing next 20 years in mind)

Subsea/ Onshore/ Offshore?

1. Process Engineer
2. HSE Engineer
3. Project Engineer
4. Any other niche area/ better position?

Qualification:

Bachelor: Chemical Engineering
Masters: HSE
Masters: Petroleum Refining Processes & Petrochemicals

Say this is your beginning of your career and looking forward to stick to this job for next 3 years.
Already wasted 2 years after my Bachelor’s degree in an irrelevant position/ industry.

Later I furthered studies in Europe & currently doing internship in Europe. HR says I have the choice to propose what position I want and the location I want, of course pertaining to my qualification and interest because this service company is really huge with worldwide operations. I have decided to go global to gain experience & wealth. Shed your thoughts...

Any free and reliable anti plagiarism website?

Hi guys,

I'm chasing my dateline and in urgent need to check my paper with anti plagiarism sites before submitting my draft to be examined.

This is because I doubt my citations are not well organized.
I want to produce a good work and do not want any accusation of plagiarism.

My writeup is 70 pages long.

Can't afford to buy an account at online anti plagiarism sites.
Would much appreciate if someone here willing to share your access to sites like writecheck or turnitin or any other reliable anti plagiarism website.

Proofreading guys are charging so much which I don't have at the moment.
Or please advice me if there is any alternative.

Bachelor's -Chemical Eng (local U).
Master's -Engineering (Health, Safety, Env) (local U-juz completed).
Working experience-negligible

Received two offers last week.

Offer 1:
Petronas-Based in KLCC.
Basic 4K
Involves travelling all around the world, requires people skill (PR).
The only con- it's a non-technical position has nothing to do with my 6 yrs of tertiary education.
**Once I reject this offer I have to forget tis dream company forever

Offer 2:
Another technical masters degree (1.5 yrs)
Based in French Petroleum Institute (Paris)
Funded by Technip France (not Malaysia) and confirmed no bond!
Employment offer upon completion.

Frankly i'm a kampung boy-ultra poor- (never been on flight-not even s'pore- !!)
But I have a lots of confidence in me that I can survive tough environments.
I have no dependands to support at the moment but considering my age I'm asking my self wen I gona start work, setup family, property, etc etc..
I find tis a rare opportunity..
Sifus plz shed ur thought and help me to decide...
