wonder whats 20-20khz on your headphone package means?

it means the range of sounds in terms of pitch a human ear can normally hear. text books say the normal human range is 20Hz -20kHz, and depends on age the range can change. Children and women can usually hear higher pitch than men, and men have better hearing at lower frequency (maybe thats y bassheads are mostly man?). the range can deteriorates with age and noisy environment, (eg my 60y/o dad previously an engineer has upper limit of 10kHz only)

Found an app on appstore, that can produce sound frequence from 80hz - 22khz

Clearly audible from 20-17hz, 18 hz become very faint, 19hz is only audible when amp is max out.

Hi Guys,

I know somebody must have asked this before, but i tried to search for an hour but never get a satisfied answer
All the data plan is so complicated!!

I'm currently on iPhone iValue 100 package which contract will expire soon, and like to seek for another replacement coz really dissatisfied w maxis' service

My proposed usage in new package:
1. Call: less than 100 mins
2. SMS: less than 200 messages
3. Date: more than 1GB, less than 2GB<< most important

*I cannot sign up for contract coz im leaving country in few months.

Hope any1 here can recommend me a package, prepaid or postpaid, with lowest cost and acceptable service. Thanks!

Urbanears Plattan vs. Sony Piiq Marqii

Just went to lowyat for a bit of window shopping, tried a few headphones n particularly impressed by these 2 models.
Urbanears priced @ 239 comes w choices of color and mic suitable for iPhone I'm using, while Sony Piiq only have a black/pink version but w better audio quality, n cost more w 320.

Both delivers audio signatures that I find myself comfortable with, heavy in bass while clear in mid n treble, while not getting too tinny at high notes. Both offers fair audio quality and style, which suits me well, except that Marqii's pink my not suit me that well

I wonder if any audiophiles here tried these n care to give a review? Or u guys know any similar models outside?

WTA- GPS for offroad

Hi guys, what i've seen here is almost all about GPS for road navigation. What about other use? I have a PDA phone with gps for some time ledi, and had alot of fun with it. Only now i wonder my pda which doing find on the road, will do as good offroad?

What i mean is like going jogging, doing geocaching, and hiking. So far i've tried GMXT and mapking, they both dont do well offroad. i tried googled some other chap pa lang software but havent found one that i like. How about sharing your experience here?

What is your favourite form factors?!

O2 XDA IIs> Dopod 838> BenQ-Siemens P51>Tytn II>Samsung I780

U can see all of them have qwerty keyboards! For all of those i would say P51 has the best form factor, apart for being bit too bulky. But what you expect? PPC back then are all bulky! P51 has a wonderful keypad with 1mm thick tactile feedback, so well spaced even unmatched by newest i780.

Sadly BenQ no longer make PPC, not saying quitting worldwide market of handphone... sob... I do wish something alike (but slimmer) would come out in near future, hope HTC hears my prayer here...

[WTA] Silicon /crystal / etc Casing for xda 2s?

Do any1 know where i can get any casing for my xda 2s? searched thru many international site found no manufacturer for this model T_T.

I only found some aluminium and magnesium casing from US, but found noting on crystal and silicon casing. Any ideas?
