Reporter : We always wanted ask you this question.Are you tired of the talks about Olympics and Lin Dan?

LCW : I think it is normal because the media and the fans always wanted to know more about our competitions and this year is Rio 2016 Olympics so of course they would talk about Olympics a lot.

Reporter : I also realized that you have became more bigger.I heard your trainer mentions that you are a lot muscular than before.Did you trained it for Olympics?

LCW : I think because I was training a lot harder lately.Maybe this year is Olympics.Or maybe during my 8 months absence (urine test incident),I wasn't having proper training.As I only went to training everyday just to keep my stamina and spent some times while waiting for the urine test result.I felt not motivated,only do what the coaches told me to and no additional training because there's no tournaments for me to prepare and no targets for myself.

LCW : Last year,I know that I have to get back on track when I got the news that I can finally return to participate in tournaments again.At the beginning of my return,I encountered a lot of hardships because I have to start all over again at rank 180th and work a lot harder to get back to top 10.I felt a lot more tired because I have to play all the major and smaller tournaments to gain more points to push my ranking back to the top in short period of time.

Reporter : During those 8 months,we also thought that there's 2 possible outcomes.One is that you might have trouble to start again and another is that you will be a better player.However,we also saw that your recent results against Lin Dan and Chen Long was better than before.So,it was obvious that you are now better than before.Have you ever thought that the 8 months absence was a chance for you to become a better player?

LCW : Actually,I can say that these 8 months was the saddest moment in my 15 years badminton career.Regarding the urine result,I also have no idea what happened and did nothing wrong myself.Just like you said before,there's 2 possible outcomes...one is that I might become more stronger after these 8 months or another is there wouldn't be Lee Chong Wei anymore.

LCW : I think maybe I have defeated both Lin Dan and Chen Long in China tournament last year so there are more people noticed me after 8 months. Actually , I don't think I am in a better form than before.I think that I am now playing with a relaxing mindset as I was thinking about retirement after this year's Olympics or next year's SEA Games (which held in Malaysia).I don't feel as burdened as before when I am facing opponents such as Lin Dan and Chen Long because I am now playing badminton in a more relaxing mindset and doesn't care so much about win/loss.

Reporter : I heard the Malaysia national team had hired psychotherapist for treatment.As you said before , all the Malaysians have put their hopes on you while there's no China players have so much burdens on themselves. Besides psychotherapy , what methods have you tried to help you feel more relaxed?

LCW : Well,the psychotherapy treatment has helped me a lot.Compared to Lin Dan and Chen Long, China had won a lot Olympics gold medals while Malaysia haven't won our first gold medal yet.As we think Malaysia has better chances winning their 1st gold medal in badminton.So,there will be more burdens on my shoulder.I have experienced a lot after losing 2008 and 2012 Olympics.

Reporter : We have asked Lin Dan about his experiences in Olympics.He said he had more stress in Olympic 2008 while he is more relaxed in Olympic 2012.Can you talk about what's your mindsets on each Olympics?

LCW : This year is my 4th Olympics.In 2004,I felt very excited participating my 1st Olympics and just went there to play badminton for fun..without any stress because the burdens were on my 2 seniors (Wong Choong Hann and Roslin Hashim).I experienced the stress of my seniors in Olympics 2008. LCW : During 2012,I injured my leg 3 months before the Olympics.I felt very depressing and low-spirited.I didn't thought that I could make it into the Olympics 2012 because I still couldn't run or play full court 2 days before the Olympics started.I felt very nervous and was crying in my room because of my injury.I felt very angry on myself.After winning stages by stages,I didn't thought that I could advance into the final and had the desire to win the gold medal.

Reporter : Before that,we have talked about how only the happy endings happened on Lin Dan while the sad endings happened on you.Have you complained about it?

LCW : I can't complain it and maybe it was destined to.I think I couldn't make it to Olympics 2016 without Lin Dan.

Reporter : After experiencing so many things,what defines a successful athlete?

LCW : As an athlete,it doesn't how many major titles you won...you will experience a lot and you have to do your best because that's how life is.This year Olympics,everyone saw that I have a lot of hope for gold medal...although I have lost but I still have to accept the results and do my best for every matches.

Reporter : You have became a father during these 4 years.How does your children affected your life?

LCW : I think it has affected a lot.When I returned home after tough trainings,I felt very refreshed after looking at my 2 children.Every time I went to other countries,I always missed them and wanted to talk to them.I think my wife suffered a lot when taking care of my children because I couldn't be with them every day.I think my 8 months absence was a good news to my wife because I could spend more time with my family.

Reporter : Now your children,especially your eldest son,does he realized what kind of person you are now?

LCW : He knows that his father still playing badminton.He might play a bit of badminton from time to time.He also came to watch every tournaments I am in.Everyone asked me if he had interests in badminton but I think not as much as I thought.Actually I have discussed about this matter with my wife,we both doesn't want our children to be a badminton player.We will let him decide if he really likes to become a badminton player or not.

Reporter : What do you think you will do after retiring as a badminton player?

LCW : Of course I would still want to be in the badminton national team and contribute to my country.I am still considering about it because there's many problems if I really want to stay in the national team as it is not as simple as that.Everyone is asking me to look for the "next" Lee Chong Wei,I think it is very difficult to do it.I am still considering if I wanted to retire after Rio 2016.

Reporter : Have you ever thought about tournaments while you were banned?

LCW : During the 8 months,I have watched some matches on TV...such as Lin Dan's,Chen Long's or my teammates'.I will imagine maybe I could be in this tournament or how would I perform if I wasn't banned.Then,my wife would tell me to turn off the TV and go rest because she thinks I would felt depressed when I couldn't play in the tournaments.Every time I might felt annoyed when I go outside because the same questions were asked from day to night but I still have to face the problems. I think my family knows me the best because they wouldn't talk about badminton in front of me during the 8 months.However,I will still follow some of the tournaments...maybe because I really loved badminton too much.

Reporter : Do you think you were born to play badminton?Because Lin Dan says that he was born to play badminton.

LCW : I think I really love sports.Aside from badminton,I used to love sports such as basketball or football.Well,I still play basketball with some of my friends.I think that being a badminton player really changed me a lot. Reporter : About your fans,what do feel about not able to fulfill all your fans?

LCW : This question was asked by the media a lot.I couldn't do everything for my fans.Last time when I was arriving to airport,there's many kids waiting for me and I couldn't take any photographs because of safety first.I apologized for this matter in the press conference and I hoped to interact with them in the court.After finishing our matches,we really wanted to take pictures with them but there's too many of them.I really hoped the fans can understand us.

LCW : Some fans wanted to take picture with me while I was eating in restaurant.I have a habit which is only focused on eating because my grandmother used to told me do not do anything else while eating.Some fans will wait for me to finish my meal while some fans will be angry about it and post it on Weibo or Facebook.I couldn't do anything about it because they have the rights to write anything they want.I hope that my fans are happy although I couldn't do everything for them.

Reporter : If it was that difficult for you to go out in China,wouldn't it be worse in Malaysia?

LCW : I didn't go out much in Malaysia.I would still go out if there's any events or I have to accompany my children because this is an important progress for children.My children might get mad at me in the future if I didn't go out with them.

Reporter : I heard that you were very tired in the Wuhan signing event. LCW : Yes,but I have to go because I have agreed to do the signing for the sponsors and the fans were waiting for me. Reporter : Have you ever thought being an athlete now is way different than you first thought?You used to think you just need be good in playing badminton but now you have to do a lot of other things such as fan signing.

LCW : Yes,because there's only 2 types.Either you be a skillful player or stay the same.Of course,being a skillful player is better.I still have to face these things and I will do everything I can although I can't fulfill everyone.

I just recently bought a normal Tag watch for rm10k++

But my company not doing well, made redundant some staffs because lost a few contracts.

I lucky survived this, and recently spent rm10k+ on a watch.
