I cannot reformat my HDD because of a virus in the computer. the virus has made my DVD drive disappear from my computer, but until yesterday the drive was still available in safe mode. the dvd drive is apparently still functional, but the pc just wont detect it.<br />first thing i did was check in safe mode. one moment there, one moment not. next i checked my boot options in BIOS. when I attempt to boot, usually it will give an option, such as &quot;boot from DVD, bla bla bla&quot; in this case, it stated, DVD drive not available, boot with network adaptor. my understanding is that is available if I use another computer and hook it up via LAN. however, i don&#39;t know how to do that. Could someone please give me a step by step tutorial about doing that?
