Laptop Screen Flickers

Hi all, my laptop screen for some unknown reason has been flickering since this afternoon, when I say flickering I mean like ''blinking'' every few seconds. I have tried everything I could including formatting windows, reinstalling drivers, booting into ubuntu live CD, changing the refresh rate but to avail and it's driving me crazy. I really hope some sifus here can help me out on this. Your input will be greatly appreciated

Need Suggestions on a Budget GC

Hello you all, need help on getting a cheap graphic card. My previous GC fried and I'm planning to change it, I have a 450 watt PSU, I mostly use PC to play facebook games and some videos and I rarely play PC games. My budget is around 200, any recommendations? Thanks in advance

Windows Hangs on File Copy

Here's the story, I tried to copy a file from drive D to E just now, but the file copying stopped half way and caused high disk usage and windows hanged. I then force started it, tried copying another file, and voila it worked. Thought the problem resolved itself, so I proceeded to try on copying the file that caused the previous hanging, and shit, here we go again, the same problem occurred. Does any of you know what could be the cause? the problem occurrs only when I copy a specific file, other files are fine, and I noticed the hard disk makes a very unusual sound when the problem occurs. Could it be due to the disk drive itself? your help would be greatly appreciated...

Laptop won't boot up

Here's the story, just now my laptop (lenovo z460) froze and stuck at startup screen, so I ran a recovery but it creased running halfway through and saying internal problem error, and now it stopped at an error page when I tried to boot it up, saying I need to repair my comp with an installation disc which I don't have one. As I have stated in the post's header my warranty's expired, sending it to service centers would probably cost me an arm and leg, so can y'all recommend a reliable shop? preferably one with promised speedy repair, cheap pricing and good reputation? your help would be greatly appreciated...
