Sales Person Bear the Bad Debt!

Dear all, I have some questions which need your advice.

Here is a Marketing company where each sales person will get 1% of the commision from the amount of sales they sold upon getting full payment from the customer. Each customer has their own term, some has 30 days term, some 60 days term. For each late payment, they will get 0.5% deduction penalty, meaning to say if customer pay late, sales person will only get 0.5% commission. This commision system I think is quite common especially for those Chinaman business.

Now there is an issue coming up, now the company announce that if the Customer has been:

i) Closed Down / Bankrupt
ii) A Con Company (get the goods from you and the whole premise disappear the next day)
iii) Bad Debt (poor paymaster who drag the payment for long time ~~ 1 year and above)

Then, from the total debt of the customer, the Sales Person will have to bear 30% of the total amount! For example, if the Company A closed down with the debt of RM 15,000 then the sales person will have to pay to the employer Rm 4500. Normally the company will directly cut the employee salary and commision when he/she resign (No pay in the last working month) plus have to pay back the rest if the salary is not enough! All the sales person so far has not signed any agreement on this practice, only verbal instructions have been given by the company.

Is this practice legal from the Labor law of view? With such a low commission structure, is this fair to the sales person?

Stiff Heavy Power Steering

Dear all sifus, my bro CR-V (2nd Generation) recently have leaking power steering fluid issue. So I replaced the hose and refill back with Honda Original Power Steering Fluid. However, now the power steering is very stiff and heavy when it is in idle mode (need to rev up to make it lighter). This also happen during driving when i release the throttle, the steering will become very very stiff and heavy but lights off when i press back the throttle again.

My mechanic has drained off the power steering fluid and flush the system. The pump also was checked and it is working properly. What actually cause this issue? I haven't face this kind of issue before. Even my mechanic now also headache. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Very LOUD Rattling Sound from my CAMPRO!

Dear all Sifus, my car has been one of the first batch of BLM which came out in March 2008. My car has been covered for 29000 km till now and I've been to SC for service every 10k. Problem is, starting from 9000km, there's been this kind of rattling metal sound appearing from time to time (Sometimes got sometimes it doesnt appear).

Please listen to the sound in the Youtube below from the 48th second till 1 min 11 second...

Rattling Sound - Youtube

The sound is extremely irritating. And I've sent it to SC for checking twice d. And in both occasion, the car just didnt produce the sound when the mechanics drive the car for a round!!! Only after when i drive the sound appear again! The first time I thought it was IAFM fault, so the SC was kind to replace the IAFM in my 10000 km service. Then the noise continues to appear. The car was sent 2nd time for checking and the mechanics just tell me that the exhaust was loose and they just tight back the exhaust pipe. The problem until now still exist and I've been tired of going to SC cuz it's been so wasting my time. Can any 1 tell me what's wrong with my car?

Marketing or MNC

I've been in a marketing company as an application engineer for 1 year since graduated and I enjoyed my work quite well. However, most of my other friends have joined MNC as junior engineer. I prefer to work in a flexible environment (with field visit and travelling) and not in an enclosed space like in a factory. But I realised that with working experience in MNC, it would certainly makes my resume looks nicer and can have better employment opportunity in the future. Plus when ppl asking me of the company name, it would sounds more prestige....compared to my current company which frankly.....ppl wouldnt even heard or know about it...

So now I've got an offer from one of the MNC which is totally unrelated to my current field and the offer is fresh grad salary, which is lower than my current salary. But the benefits in MNC is much better. I've got feedback from a friend who has been in that position before and he told me the work is very boredom and when shit happens, you'll be like fire fighting. But there are also other fren who enjoy there and have gone to overseas many times already. Working days in MNC is also standard 5 days compared to current 5 and half days.

In this current company, I'm reporting directly to my boss and there's opportunity to learn to do business from him. But the personnel turnover rate here is quite high with many sales person come in and leaving. This really demotivates me and leave a bad impression on the future of the company. And the office politics here can be quite a challenge too (though i know MNC would be much dangerous).

If I reject the MNC offer, I know that it would be close to impossible to have 2nd chance to enter again (to other MNC) cuz most of the MNC only prefer to recruit freshies. Now I'm quite confused.....Need help
